Donald Trump’s tiredness, recent MRI and hand bruise suggest he may be taking medication to treat Alzheimer’s disease, according to a “curious” California Democrat.

Rep. Sydney Kamlager-Dove, D-Calif., tweeted that Trump is showing signs he’s taking the Alzheimer’s disease drug Leqembi.

“The Alzheimer’s drug Leqembi:- Is administered through an infusion (for example, through the hand)- Can cause swelling, bleeding, or fluid leakage in the brain, requiring regular MRIs- Can cause tiredness,” Kamlager-Dove tweeted along with a picture of Trump’s hand bruise. “Curious.”

If he’s getting infusions that frequently, they’d probably install a port which would be on the chest area and not visible.

Hope he fucks off this mortal coil soon. Wakes up dead one morning type thing. As is common for octogenarians.

What’s wrong with months of pain, fear and helplessness first? If anyone deserves that, it’s Trump.

Dude will be 80 next year, the idea that he’s not somehow having major medical issues would be bizarre.

I’d love for a reporter to ask “So how’s the Leqembi treatment going?” and watch him either a) explode or b) Go on at length how it’s an amazing drug and he never felt better.

They kept Cheney alive without a functioning heart. No way he goes out from something unless it is catastrophic.

Big difference in keeping a brain alive with intensive heart remediations vs keeping a brain alive that’s intent on dying from the inside. Ain’t no stopping those amyloid prions after they reach a critical concentration.

My great granddad lived to 93 in his own home, fully independent until his ticker gave out. 79 doesn’t have to be frail and feebleminded. Of course there’s the genetic component but living an active, rewarding life does wonders.

I’d think it’s more than just being older. It’s the fact he treated himself like shit. I’m surprised he even made it this long, I think the average age for a McDonald’s face stuffer is much younger than this. Like late 60s for the heart to give out.

That thumbnail is nauseating. It’s like a wrinkly suede women’s glove smeared with the “cheese” powder from a box of mac and cheese.

That’s a straw man argument, because that is not at all what is happening.

There are several factors, first the visible evidence of IV, then the MRI scans, which are used to monitor the effect of the treatment. Then multiple symptoms Trump is showing, like fatigue and dementia, some also claim Trump has a cycle of fatigue consistent with this treatment, also rumors of repeated cognitive tests, and almost but not quite finally that this is the best treatment that exist for the suspected circumstance, and would very likely be the one chosen for the president, and finally that this treatment was approved by FDA after Trump became president.

So 1. The obvious IV, 2. Multiple MRI, 2.Obvious Symptoms, 3. Cycle, 4. Cognitive tests, 5. Best known treatment, 6. Circumstances surrounding the approval of the treatment.

These are the ones I’ve picked up even without having great interest in the issue, so there may be more. Of course not all points are equally strong, and it’s all circumstantial. But it’s false to claim it just the IV.

the blatant lying is a clear indication it’s something serious

Trump lies all the time, whether he needs to or not. So you can’t use obvious lying as a tell: it’s always there, regardless of whatever else is going on.

Based on the doctor’s letter, my guess is that it wasn’t an MRI, but instead some other kind of imaging (say, a CAT scan with a contrast agent) and they were looking for arterial blockages. MRIs aren’t good at detecting those-- MRIs need lots of time to create the image, and a beating heart or circulating blood won’t show up. CAT scans are faster. Infusion of a contrast agent would also be a reason for the hand bruising.

Source: I’m old, have had both MRIs and CAT scans, and know that medical professionals love sticking a cannula in your hand at any opportunity, the twisted bastards. I’ve also had a nasty hematoma on the back of my hand after cannula removal, despite having good cardio fitness and not taking blood thinners.

Trump lies all the time, whether he needs to or not. So you can’t use obvious lying as a tell:

And that’s not what I’m doing, I don’t give a shit about what the lying toddler spews, but it’s not just Trump, it’s also memo’s from doctors, and white house statements.

Also everybody claims he has had at least 2 extra MRI’s this year. Nobody is mentioning any other form of scan that I have seen. AFAIK the MRI thing is a factual confirmed thing at least in 2 recent cases. There are rumors there are more, but those are not confirmed.

The White House released a statement from President Donald Trump’s physician that said the MRI scan Trump received during his physical was “preventative” and the results were “perfectly normal.”

It’s not just someone getting an IV. It’s the blatant lying when asked about it. Nobody gets a bruise like that by “shaking hands”.
