  • The Tesla model S came out in 2012. I just remember that when Musk made that tweet, I’d already identified Musk as a conman.
But I don’t remember anything in particular that stood out as much before that tweet. Except he had already failed on his promise on FSD, with little to show it was even close. I also remember identifying him as an introvert narcissist. Which is kind of an oxymoron, but nonetheless describes his public social conduct.

If you are old, do you remember Lee Iacocca (Chrysler)? Or Jack Tramiel (Commodore)?
Those were stellar businessmen and CEOs, that were geniuses without being narcissistic sociopaths.
Those were true role models. 😀

  • The notice filed by lawyers for Musk and his America PAC argue that because that PAC is registered as a federal entity, it is not subject to state law.

    WTF?
They just use the lamest arguments, it’s all about plausible deniability, except plausible somehow went out the window. so now it’s just deniability,
and a corrupt judge will allow it!! It’s insane how Republicans manage to move the goal posts, let’s hope they won’t succeed this time.

Corrupt judges really need to be removed, starting with supreme court.

  • The argument that you can’t have water proof replaceable batteries is silly, and it’s very obviously false, lots of gadgets do that.
Some make similar claims with mini jack, but that too is absolutely possible, for instance Sony has/had that.
It’s the same principle as waterproofing an USB/charging conecter, and AFAIK ALL phones with IP68 rating have USB/Charging ports.

Unfortunately if your IP68 phone has a glass back, that can easily crack, and that will compromise the IP68 feature.
In that way, my IP68 phone was only intact for 4 months. 😱

  • No that’s a false narrative, the criminal cases are based on public prosecutors running them.
What you are claiming is for civil suits, of which a couple have been settled, despite obstruction attempts by Trump.
If it gets to a point where a politician can ask public prosecutors to put opponents in jail, USA has long ceased to be a democracy.

Trump is already a convicted criminal, and cannot vote in several states, still he can run for president, and enjoy privileged treatment.
Where an ordinary person voting because she was told she could, got 5 years prison for voter fraud!

  • No, Nixon stepped down because of Watergate, you won’t see similar honesty from Republicans today.
They are exploiting the judicial system, and to Prosecute Trump for things he did in the open as president to enrich himself and his family isn’t pursued, even now after 8 years.
After Nixon the Republicans decided to try to control the courts and the political narrative, so they never would lose a case either legally or in the public eye like Watergate again.
Republicans have been systematically undermining USA for 5 decades now.

It’s way past the time to stop it, If Harris doesn’t win, and start the process towards legal and political normalcy, it could easily be to late.
