“Some games vanish. Not because they broke the law but because someone decided they shouldn’t exist.”

    Fuckin’ ay, man. Fuckin’ ay.

I love being able to help protest by playing… (checks notes) Helping the Hotties… 😉

Postal 2 is actually a really good shitpost of a game. It looks like shit, it is unironically edgy and full of 14 year old levels of sexist, toilet humor. But god damn is it actually a good game. Like, a truly solid immersive sim shooter. And one of the only FPS games I know of that has guns and killing where you don’t have to actually get involved and can beat the whole game as a casual observer of the chaos.

Plus you can piss on cops and make cops eat doughnuts filled with dogshit. 11/10.

Nice gesture, but keep in mind that this is the same GOG that was poised to release Devotion by RedCandleGames, only to renege on it because CCP imbeciles told them to. They are brave against censorship except when it involves actual conflict with censors. As soon as that happens, it’s bootlick city.

And doing this with just 13 games? F95 catalogues 13 games… a day. I feel like GOG needs to up their game here.

Yeah but… A lot of games on F95Zone aren’t on any storefront. Can’t blame a storefront for only giving those things the storefront can.

Oh… Uh… A lot of what’s on F95Zone is also either trash, abandoned, or abandoned trash.

Hunie Pop is a great game, despite being a Bejeweled clone. The mechanics make the “puzzles” a lot more fun (not just the tiddies)

At the risk of sounding like I’m making excuses for wanting to see the tiddies, the storylines of the different characters is fun to navigate. But yes.

          Lame.

The main reason I never played Hunniepop is because of this. Story (yes, including erotica) and gameplay need to be integrated. They both work together.

I don’t want to play a glorified VN with bejewelled tacked on.

HuniePop is one of my favorite guilty pleasures. Out spawned so many clones because it was legitimately well made.

They have a list of countries where games are not legal and cannot be bought/redeemed. Two stand out with almost all games: One is China. The second is Germany. I hate this shitty conservative self-righteous government and its prude regulations.

    i mean yeah… sure.

they could have decided to throw some lgbtq stuff in there, to shine a light on every queer person who just got thrown off of itch. but no, no risk of gog going woke.

I don’t know if it’s a slight against them. There’s a whole shit load of stuff not included. Just because something wasn’t doesn’t mean it was a choice. It would have been nice, but we can’t really know why there’s none here.

Almost nobody did anything in response to the recent censorship, especially not if it could hurt them politically or financially. But GOG did something. Stop complaining, you should congratulate and support them on taking the risk for a good fight. I wish it wasn’t, but they currently are a one of very few rays of light.

because it’s only been like three days. itch is actively hunting for a new payment provider, there’s a huge phone campaign ongoing, and collective shout is being slammed in the media. so people are doing something.
