Excellent, I’ll have a look at it. Thank you!

It’s a shitty Synology Nas with extreme slow speeds. That’s only amplified by slow upload speeds when I’m not in my local network.
The main difference, and that’s also the difference to the way Gnome handles cloud storage like GDrive, is that I don’t want a network storage. I want integration into my file system, and I want automatic upload of what I’m working on. And I want the ability to say: this directory needs to be available offline. Without having to copy it from my nas to local storage and back again.
While correct in the sense of word and versioning via mail being a nightmare, I really don’t think you can expect anyone to learn latex just so they can comment in your document. I would have offered to send a pdf. Shoot me.
I do it with many drinks and then send before I sober up. You just have to pray that you never see that text again.
Looks really cool but also seems like something I would get into procrastinating my actual to-dos
Fair point but Linux is inherently safe either? The local library here has client PCs running Ubuntu 16.04 lts… my point being that IT infrastructure is only ever as secure as the amount of continuous effort you put into securing it. Linux doesn’t solve that.
Basically Jodel but decentralised? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tellm.android.app
My Biology teacher put it pretty neatly: “Fungi are Fungi.”
Are you giving out a license for all your posts? Are you following up on the usage or is it more of a symbolic act?
It’s your prerogative to find them insufferable is what I meant to say. Your criticism and opinions are fair enough.
That’s a dick way of saying fuck off but I mean they do provide a free service. If they have a vision and don’t want to deal with random people whining about it that’s their prerogative. Same as yours to find that utterly insufferable.
If you think cleaning is picking up after yourself you haven’t actually cleaned. If I had just a tiny bit more disposable income I’d love to spend it on someone properly cleaning the apartment.
Between two full time jobs, commute, and a toddler there is not much time, much less energy, to clean beyond a quick vacuum, and wipe down of the bathroom once a week.
This being the entire point of the show is the reason this meme works at all ?!
Can I ask what you’re using? I tried virt-manager with a win 10 installation and it barely works. Granted an i5 5200U is not beefy by any means but at 100% CPU usage everything just stutters.
I’ll have to give a go on my old ThinkPad yoga 12.
I would switch in a heartbeat if MS office would be on Linux. I have tried all alternatives, including MS office online and I always encounter some kind of formatting fuck up. That’s just not acceptable for my job.
MS knows this of course.
I have no experience with latex but I would argue that if you’re proficient in using word you can set up even a large document effectively. Most people just don’t bother. But things like page break, as a basic example, exist.
This isn’t to say that word is better than latex, again I have no experience with the latter, but word in 2023 is better than it’s reputation imo.
How you gonna take 3 weeks vacation when an iteration is 2?! And how you gonna expect any dev to do anything without a daily stand up??? You need to be more AGILE dude
