The context is Kamala isn’t smart enough to run the country. He then pans to how beautiful she is by making comparisons with his wife (misogyny, she’s beautiful but dumb). He then points out how of course they look different (race).

My interpretation is, in his own misogynistic racist way, he’s trying to backpadel on the racism by calling her beautiful, but ends up coming off as misogynistic and still quite racist.

Remember, Melania got into the US on an “Einstein” visa. Trump really might believe she’s intelligent and would therefore be complimenting Harris by making that comparison.

I pulled context from the article. He called her dumb.

We need smart people, and people that have the ability to lead. She doesn’t have that ability. Can you imagine her with chairman Xi [Jinpin, President of the People’s Republic of China]

He then goes on about her looks.

I saw a picture of her on Time Magazine today. She looks like the most beautiful actress ever to live.

Essentially arguing that she faked her way into her position, coasting on her looks. This is a misogynistic view point.

Here he’s drawing contrast, of course they’re beautiful in there own way. But considering his history of racism and his racist base, this comes off as a dog whistle. She’s beautiful but not white woman beautiful.

She looked very much like our great first lady, Melania,” Trump gushed as Musk met his comment with an awkward chuckle and a reserved, “yeah…”

She didn’t look like Camilla,” Trump said, purposely butchering Harris’ name. “Of course, she’s a beautiful woman and we’ll leave it at that.”

Leave it at that I interpret as, of course she’s beautiful for a black woman. He leaves it at that as a dog whistle as he’s realizing overt racism isn’t helping him atm.

For some reason it makes me feel extra icky that he referred to her as “our great first lady…”. A title she doesn’t have, no matter what he dreams. instead of just “my wife Melania”, or “my beautiful wife Melania”. Is he into cucking or something?

The headline is that Trump called Harris “beautiful”, but the actual context was “the most beautiful actress”. I think he was attempting to imply that she isn’t qualified for the job at all, and is simply acting the part.

This is just garden variety sexism. But it’s so out of place in 2024 that people aren’t going to understand it.

This guy is a fucking fossil. I bet this worked great back when he was 50, and hanging out with a bunch of other old white guys.

He was 50 back in 1996. The fucking nineties. Vote this geriatric, senile douchebag off his soap box.

Hours after the Trump-Musk interview, the tech tycoon said that he is also willing to interview Harris ahead of the November election.

“Happy to host Kamala on an 𝕏 Spaces too,” he wrote on his social media platform.

Harris’s campaign team meanwhile responded to the interview with a scathing statement calling Trump and Musk “self-obsessed rich guys who will sell out the middle class and who cannot run a livestream in the year 2024.”

Nah, she should do it. Would love to see Musk crumble by having to talk with someone who would do anything but spin around on his dick

Eeeeewwww! Creepy Don shows his ugly face again!

The only way Trump can relate to any woman (or especially a little girl) is as a fuck object.

Just the thought makes you want to go take a shower, with bleach.

“Beautiful” is far from the first word I’d use to describe our future Madam President. “Smart”. “Dedicated”. “Hard-Nosed”. “Driven”. “Focused”.

Reduce her to her looks at your peril, shitgibbon.

I don’t think she’s particularly good looking, which may just be personal taste, but in any case doesn’t matter in the slightest. She’s not running for Miss America, she’s running for President.

Not that I hold any particular love for beauty contests either, but - like Harris’ looks - that’s irrelevant here.

marking a complete U-turn from the 2020 election where he sided with President Joe Biden and the Democrats.

Bullshit. This cannot possibly be true.

Why is there not a clip of what he said in the article? The main video is of a completely different part. None of the links in the article seem to be the clip? I’m probably just dumb and not seeing it, or is it actually not there?
