There are plenty of bad things about trump, thats not in question its just the sensational things are always bullshit or misleading. I have all kinds of policy, execution, and moral issues with him, but that is not what ever comes up its about how he said a racist thing to a homeless man on the street before punching him, sources say.

I picked “sharp” or “sharp as a tack” because there is a video floating around with all the major people in the corporate media and corporat politics calling him sharp or praising how he is on top of his game.

Any specific examples of these bad things? I agree that its not you, its the cult that are the problem but I have to check.

I get that. I’m just saying the double standard is kind of wild. I mean, its not like anyone ever would come out and say “yeah, our candidate (much like the other candidate) was too old for this job 10 years ago. Hes lost it. Dont vote for him.” Thats not been the nature of politics for the past 100 years.

We had the media running back to back reels about Biden age but virtually nothing on the sexual assault he lost a libel case over denying, the now unsealed rape allegations, the russian oligarchs buying up his properties at 10× market rate or his extensive relationship with epstien which are all far bigger issues.

Bad things - cheats on his wife while she is pregnant (probably), is a jackass to many people, hires bad people, spends way too much money, doesnt do what he says he will do, and a variety of policy problem.

The problem I have that is he is not just a candidate, he is the current president. And its not just people in his party that said he was fine, it was the supposed unbiased media.

Do you really believe that the media doesnt cover trump negatively?

          Fair enough, thats a few.

True but I feel a lot of that would net off against trump also being old and losing it, as well as all the other things coming out about him that should be front page news.

Even then, he stepped aside and put his country first. Thats something trump would never do.

Its hard to say. His supporters would consider simply telling the truth about the things trump does/has done to be reporting on him negatively. There’s also a lot of negative things to say about him and the people he represents. The media isn’t all the same either. Social media like X is owned by a huge trump supporter, who will be looking to paint trump positively.

Honestly, he tried to overthrow your democracy and then loaded up supreme judges to pervert the democratic choice of the majority of the country. He’s had security provided at republican meetings by the “three percenters” white supremacist group. Hes just told everyone he’s going to “fix voting.” So, he about to have a second shot at what he tried on January 6.

The press he gets isn’t nearly negative enough.

The big issue here is that you have bought one side narrative completely. From my view all of the things that have been done to trump and also the jan 6th defendents is the real attempt at overthrowing democracy. And then pretending that the trump judges are super bad compared to the democrat appointed judges is just completely biased.

The bigger issue is that you’re so full of yourself that you think you’re above it all simply because you’re attempting to “both sides” the situation. Worse still is that you’ve had to refute the evidence of your eyes and ears to do so.

“No, the people who tried to overthrow our democracy aren’t the people who tried to overthrow our democracy. The really attempt to overthrow democracy is the people calling out trump for trying to overthrow our democracy! I’m so smart and data driven!”

              Can you even hear yourself?

No pretence needed. Overturning roe vs wade through hiring corrupt, paid for judges doesn’t need any help. The evidence of your eyes and ears should speak for itself. However, the problem is that you’ve succumb to the cult and your mask has slipped. Just because you’ve fallen for it doesn’t mean the rest of us will.

I get that it sounds like I like the smell of my farts but I am just very rational, which is not always a good trait.

I am not going to vote for trump, and I am not part of his cult, but not being in a cult I can see what you cult is saying and what their cult is saying and I think I am close to what the truth is. The people that told you all the negative things you believe also told you Biden was “sharp as a tack”, why do you believe them still?

Well, you can declare yourself to be thus and such but far its worse than just liking the smell of your own farts. Its close to that but if you also add presuming those that don’t agree that your farts smell like roses aren’t rational.

I’m not even American. So, I’m not part of either of the two cults. I don’t expect someone wrestling a pig in shit not to get messy. It would be irrational not to. If one is being seen as sharpe as a tack, then both are.

Speaking of being rational, how rational is it to change my option on the whole of the worlds media on the one story you’ve cherry picked?

Please don’t think I’m not noticing you avoiding the issues I’ve raised with trump, all of which being far worse than being a bit old.

Why do you presume the cult that tried to overthrow your democratically elected government to be telling anything close to the truth? You can declare its your observations and, apparently, unrivalled rationality but I hope you understand that would just come across as comedically ironic.

on the one story you’ve cherry picked?

Lol one story… Dude its hundreds of stories with all the same people repeating the lies or misleading headlines.

I am more than happy to explain what part of your trump stories is misleading or exaggerated, but the problem is that when you are part of a cult (even if you dont get to vote) you wont be be able to hear it. If you have any direct questions I will answer them, but I am not interested in writing a bunch to have you say “nu-uh”.

And again, I am not even a trump voter, he is better than the other side, but still not too great.
