I’d prefer they all stay out of politics, entirely.
Or if they did … just pay taxes like everyone else.
If you’re going to have a big opinion about politics and start acting like a political organization and influencing politics … I don’t mind, just pay taxes.
Agreed. And stop getting free tax money.
Any political endorsement should automatically strip their tax-free status, while simultaneously initiating an IRS audit.
All hands on deck against the nazis. If someone punched my grandma and then denounced trump, I’d join hands with them for this election.
My grandma is a huge bitch though.
I mean… yeah, ofc, but that ship has sailed, and I for one hope that this message gets spread far and wide, to help counteract the message being preached from the literal and actual pulpit in America that a vote for Trump = a vote for God.
Also, as we could have guessed, this is an enormously clickbaity “news” title, as this excerpt explains:
“In a moment like this, I am compelled to be clear that every voter must make a choice, and my choice is to oppose the dangerous politics that (Donald) Trump and the MAGA movement have unleashed by supporting the ticket that can defeat this potential for American fascism,” Barber said in a statement to CNN, while stressing that he was backing Harris in his personal capacity.
In their personal capacity they are endorsing Harris, but in their professional (or whatever that word should be to mean non-personal) capacity they are only endorsing “not-Trump”. As it should be.
Edit: which reminds me that I wanted to block this community - that issue of EXTREMELY misleading headlines (especially those that mean the precise polar opposite of what a natural interpretation of the sentence would seem to indicate) comes up FAR too often here for my tastes. [email protected] significantly cleans up such trash by limiting what is allowed to be shared.
Standing up to a fascist dictator is up to everyone.
Jesus could come back with photo ID, walk on water, let the Cowboys be a championship team, and cure the blind, Republicans will still vote Trump.
Republicans would crucify him.
Keep in mind that is why the Jewish leaders wanted him killed: because he spoke the truth
This is like saying 1,000 delusional people endorse Harris. I don’t think it’s the flex they think it is.
Those delusional people can get their delusional followers to delusionally vote for Harris to keep the delusional dictator out of office who would make it so only one delusion was legal so many delusional people can’t indulge in their delusion
We have the magic child molesters on our side 👍
Harris has come out stronger on Christianity than anything else like living wages/worker’s rights, environmental protections, police reform, universal healthcare
no matter who wins Jesus and the corporations will come out on top this year as always
Don’t you ever have anything positive to say?
Evidently yes, but only about “Made In” brand cookware. To be fair, it does look like some good quality stuff.
I love carbon steel pans.
ditto
