Moral of the story: don’t read the Daily Heil. On top of mining your data like there’s no tomorrow, it’s a racist, homophobic, transphobic, fascist, pseudoscientific crock of absolute shit.
I like SchildiChat the most, since it has a nice UI and supports both E2EE and calls.
I’ve seen this enough times that I laughed without watching it. Funny stuff.

It might not actually be that bad, but I rarely like change. In my opinion, all software should have a sort of legacy UI mode.

4·2 months agoI essentially gaslight myself into thinking I’m finding the activity fun. I also find that music helps, as does finding a rhythm in the activity.
Of course, I’m generally fine with long tasks anyway, so your mileage may vary.
However, this guy has actually switched to Linux, and is willing to adapt and learn how to use it.
I’ve been referred for diagnosis, but I haven’t had any official diagnosis as of yet. However, all signs point towards yes.
Symptoms and stuff
- Sensory issues, mainly related to touch, which go back to when I was about 4.
- Infodumping about niche and obsessive interests.
- Relating to other autistic people.
- Other autistic people assuming I am autistic from my behaviour.
- Brilliant memory for things that interest me; crap memory for everything else
- I am strangely lucid when drunk, although I have difficulty with coordination and memory.
- Face-blindness (in some cases).
- I suffer from depression.
- I am not the worst at picking up social cues and identifying sarcasm, but only if it is done in the sarcastic voice, in context, or with a tone indicator/explanation.
- I tend not to “get” unspoken rules.
- I often require explicit instructions to know what to do.
- I am LGBTQ+ (see my Pronouns.cc), which is positively correlated with autism. [Source]
- My Dad, Uncle, and Grandad are almost certainly autistic, and I see symptoms in my brother.
- My cousin is autistic.
- I was proficient in my speech and writing from a young age, and it took me about a year to “get” what school was about after I joined. I used to devour books, until the first round of exams took away my time and I started spending more time on the internet.
On top of that, the online tests I’ve been sent all come back more-or-less positive.
I haven’t touched my YouTube channel in over a year now, but at this rate I’m thinking of deleting it altogether. There doesn’t seem to be a PeerTube instance willing to host all of my content (it’s essentially an archive for old PSAs, with occasional top 10s), so I reckon I’ll download the entire channel with JDownloader and then wait until I can host an instance of PeerTube or MediaGoblin.
I had to double-check to make sure; but no, it isn’t.
It’s the second time I’ve seen this tweet in 24h, and I still can’t believe this isn’t meant to be ironic.
I’m almost impressed by how dumb this guy is.
I see… Welp, guess I’ll go back to what I was using before!
