I would be really interested in more information about this. Thanks for bringing it to my attention to look into!

Been messing around with it for the past few days. Getting some of the software that I use on Windows, it replacements for it, has been the only trouble. The rest is just fun learning. It’s a bit nicer to learn with than trying to get everything it has base than normal Arch.
That song is hilarious. “Dont call brain names. The brain couldn’t recall.”
So, there are a couple of things that have happened recently. I have an old laptop that I’ve messed around with different distros of Linux on. I installed Arch on it and am trying to do some different things. It’s not a good laptop, so the VM set up I’m really interested in won’t happen until I get a few more drives for my main PC and set up a dual boot abd some other things. I am really interested in this set up because it just sounds neat.
Are there some things I should try to do to help me get better at working with this OS? I’m currently seeking up a server with a reverse proxy using nginx and its… Going. The server works I think, but the proxy doesnt yet.
With some of the news going around about the new windows versions and what-not, this sounds really interesting. I have a couple questions if you could answer them, that would be awesome!
How does a new release of Windows affect the compatibility of this set up? I know programs with for a while on older releases, but after a time, that version will be phased out. That might be more about the VM than your setup, but I don’t have a lot of experience with those either lol.
Does this introduce some system lag for input in any way? If I ever do get the confidence to abandon my system to go to Linux, it would suck if this really cool sounding method added response time to inputs.

Nonagon Infinity is such a well executed idea. It’s my favorite of theirs just for the concept alone.
I have watched speed runs, challenge runs, and the great play through by the lad Jacksepticeye. I LOVE the art style and would really want to play it truly for myself. I know just about everyone in my friend group is going to buy a copy if they ever release a remaster.
I’m still waiting for the PC release to be a thing…
Does matrix have a voice/video functionality or is it strictly text chat?
In all of these new-to-me resources, i see a lot of people saying they are self hosting. Do y’all selfhost on like y’all’s main PC or do y’all have a home server stack y’all use?
I’ve been seeing things about matrix more and more and it’s seeming like something interesting. I checked out their website and, like a lot of this stuff, it’s a bit unclear for me.
So you do as you do here and set up an account on an instance and then port everything through it? Does smashing all the different chats into one list have a way to differentiate them from one another? I’m just looking for more about it to help me understand it.
I don’t think we will see another Favorite Worst Nightmare from any band again. It’s my favorite album by them, but The Car has honestly been a blast to listen to. I’ve seen a lot of people dislike their direction, but I feel like the band is enjoying the music and it just makes it better.
I think the weakest album (which still has good songs) is Pile-driver Waltz.
