That’s why rather than trying to change people’s mind on the internet, I’ve resorted to just ridiculing them instead.

How depressing. Makes me wonder if that’s part of the reason I’m struggling to switch careers, because though I’m well qualified for my desired role - I don’t fit the stereotypical career history.
I mean, Lemmy has the exact same potential for issues with admins and mods - the key difference being that if those issues happen you can just up and off to another instance without having to abandon Lemmy altogether.
Have you tried Liftoff? Way better than Connect or Jerboa in my opinion.
I never see Liftoff recommended in these kinds of threads. It’s my favourite app so far out of Thunder, Connect, and Jerboa.
Yup. Things like easily editing posts or getting extra context menus up, or sorting feeds by Top Hour or 6 Hour - Liftoff can do this but Thunder can’t.
The only feature that I can think of that Thunder has that Liftoff doesn’t is swipe actions.
Edit: Liftoff has swipe actions! I missed the update.
Have you tried Liftoff? I’ve never had any issues with it.
I do like Thunder, but it’s harder to navigate to people’s profiles and communities.
What a neat find.
Interesting. Apple & Amazon’s defense argument of ‘stop counterfeits’ essentially contains the subtext of ‘because it was expensive to us, not the consumer’ - considering if you received a counterfeit product it likely wasn’t a hassle to get Amazon to refund it (and presumably by that time the seller had jogged on, and Amazon couldn’t get their money back).
This is cool. Been getting tempted to replay Portal - think this’ll tip me over the edge.
Try Liftoff until Sync is ready - it’s much smoother than Jerboa.
Just be mindful of the default ‘All’ view is literally all of the lemmyverse - via that view you can’t interact with instances that you aren’t logged on in.
Instead change it to be ‘[email protected]’ to use it as normal.
Trouble is with a small font I’m now just as likely to click on the OP’s profile name than the thread link.
's all just teething though.
Oh man, I hadn’t heard of the DMA before. How exciting!
