He caused the riot. If he didn’t cause the riot and has no responsibility then we are in some weird Saw movie logic where Jigsaw technically didn’t kill anyone because he only set up the circumstances and the people killed themselves. If you are older and twelve you should be able to sort these things out.
That depends on the local law. Setting things up in such a way that you know a crime will occur is often also considered incitement even if you never told anyone directly to do anything. Would you be more comfortable if people just said “causing a riot” because they mean the same thing here.
He has enough viewers that he basically arranged a concert in the middle of new york without telling anyone beforehand. When you have an audience his size you are legally not allowed to be as stupid as he is.
This was a very confusing story as it was breaking in Sweden because no news outlet bothered to give any info on the Eritrean conflict and just asked random Eritreans in the area for comment without clarifying what side they were on.
I wonder if it’s a refusal or if he fired the department handling that kind of thing. X exist in this weird zone where it has the media profile and user base of a massive social media empire but the corporate structure is a small startup
When you read these kinds of things I always wonder if they ever talk to their parents. I live in a very progressive country but I would still test the waters before coming out. I have nothing to come out with and I still have talked to my parents enough about things that I am fairly certain that they won’t try to kill me if I do.
everyone should be considered innocent until proven guilty.
Yes, absolutely. But the thing is that a lot of things are proven during trials that are immoral but not illegal. He could still have done a ton of indefensible stuff that makes him a bad person but still get a not guilty verdict. My point is that “Not being a criminal” is the lowest tier we should judge a person. If we are going to give a person a large amount of money and influence we are allowed to ask for more.
Legal is not the same as moral or ethical. While he did not do things that were bad enough to lock him in a room over, we as a society are still allowed to socially punish him.
Why make this comment? You could have just refered to the alphabet and let people assemble the comment themselves.
I think there will be a lot of random actions in the coming days. Reddit is really mad right now and admins are taking random actions that are later overruled because it’s bad optics.
I don’t think we should take our lessons from a third world country.
