  • You know how you have to buy tires every few years because they “go bald”? As in, they’ve lost that material that was once tread? That material isn’t just disappearing, it flies off the tires in the form of tiny particles that are in the air and water. It’s actually really toxic too, way more than other plastics. Fun fact EV tires are even more toxic.

Source: I work in a toxicology lab studying microplastics.

  • No I didn’t respond to the wrong person. You stated devils advocate to go against what everyone was saying and explain why he’s not that bad. Saying devils advocate is not calling him the proverbial devil. You said it’s to bring fairness to a discussion and look at everything from all sides (lol) when all it’s ever used for is to defend and uplift people and ideologies that are hateful and hurtful. It’s a transparent and cowardly move. Just state your opinions because that’s obviously all it ever was, but you knew you’d get ratioed for it so you try and hide behind the devil’s advocate.

My boyfriend literally worked full time through his entire time in college which only covered rent, food, bare necessities, nothing leftover to cover books or tuition. He graduated magna cum laude, straight A student but he didn’t get any scholarships. Stayed up till 1 or 2 working at restaurants all week, woke up for 9am classes, both of which he had to bike to because he didn’t live on campus or at home like you.

You did experience the exception. Plenty of people make just as many and * way more* sacrifices than you and it doesn’t get them nearly as far.

Well you’re in luck because this meme is completely wrong. Low rise jeans are in style and have been starting to go on trend for a couple years, they’re everywhere now.

    It should be:

Late 90’s to 2000’s low rise jeans

    2010’s high waisted jeans

    2020’s low rise jeans

    2030’s Best Jeanist?

Whoever made this is a full decade out of touch with fashion.
