YouGov is an online pollster, but rated relatively okay in reliability. Some of the opinions on Harris are unreasonable, it’s like the people being polled don’t know her strengths at all and are judging her as any random Dem. I wonder how this type of opinion changes over time

I’m having another of those “Damn - I’m still not cynical enough” moments at the thought that anyone would actually believe that Trump could do a better job than anyone else at anything having anything at all to do with the economy.
It’d make sense if the measure of an effective president was their skill at lying, filing false financial reports, dodging creditors and filing bankruptcy - then Trump would clearly be unequalled. But since it’s not…?
I think it’s a matter of “marketing” at this point, the Harris campaign just needs to remind everyone of the four miserable years of Trumps actual shit show presidency

Old data, and old article. The polling gains on Trump’s behalf have evened out to a statistical dead heat in just a week. I expect her to be leading in new polls after this week, possibly more after the DNC.
