I think they’re a Small-eyed Sphinx, Paonias myops, but am open to being corrected.

I think they’re a Small-eyed Sphinx, Paonias myops, but am open to being corrected.
They were about 2½ inches / 6.35cm in length, but didn’t unfurl their wings so I don’t have a good sense of the span.
