The ā€˜Save the Children Convoyā€™ is struggling as organizers accuse one another of being ā€˜undercover copsā€™ or planning ā€˜violenceā€™ and ā€˜terrorismā€™

Berry says the convoy wants to save children from the ā€œhuman trafficking industry,ā€

    Sounds like pizzagate

but also from ā€œmandating the shots to kids and kids getting sick

    Anti-vaxx disinformation

and frigging education and all the stuff theyā€™re teaching them in schools

    Anti-education disinformation

and the trans agenda [and], gender dysphoria ā€“ all of these things.ā€

Anti-trans moral panic fueled by disinformation

he and others have shared graphics claiming ā€œthe World Health Organization and the United Nations are instructing elementary schools around the world to have pedophilia normalized.ā€

Anti-LGBTQ moral panic fueled by disinformation

    and the math agenda

Ah yes the tyranny of math

You know what really helps solve these imaginary issues? Blocking traffic in Canadian cities, inconveniencing random people, and committing acts of terrorism. Brilliant plan, fuckwits. If only they cared about real issues as much as their imaginary ones.

Oh and then thereā€™s this gem:

The ā€œSave the Children Convoy,ā€ a spin-off of recent anti-2SLGBTQ+ protests targeting schools and drag storytime events as well as loosely inspired by the controversial film ā€œSound of Freedom,ā€ is being planned for Toronto in late summer or early fall. ā€¦
This week, reports surfaced that one of the Sound of Freedomā€™s original funders had been arrested on child kidnapping charges in Missouri.

ā€œWe have met the enemy and they are us.ā€

You beat me to it on that last line, but Iā€™ll highlight some others [emphasis mine]:

Berry is even more pointed about his concerns in the convoyā€™s private Facebook group where he and others have shared graphics claiming ā€œthe World Health Organization and the United Nations are instructing elementary schools around the world to have pedophilia normalized.ā€

      [ā€¦]

Phillips says Sagerā€™s comments point to the influence of ā€œsovereign citizen ideology.ā€

As soon as I saw the headline, I wondered if Romana Didulo would be mentioned. Sheā€™s a conspiracy nutbag who declared herself the Queen of Canada and started her cult of followers caravanning back and forth throughout Canada. Sheā€™s been active since 2020. Thereā€™s a fascinating look at her org at Vice. She wasnā€™t mentioned in the original article, however.

My wife just got back from a literal math conference with fellow math researchers. I asked her what the math agenda is and she said snacks & coffee at 10am because everyone was tired from being up early to make it to the conference.

Iā€™ll let you know if any other nefarious math-based plots are exposed.

Well it is a gateway to calculus, soon youā€™ll be able to be closer to understanding problems that include changing values like acceleration. Okay I may be misremembering calculus but there was way more Pythagoras theorum involved than youā€™d guess at first look.

And ā€œchanging valuesā€ is progressive brainwashing. The Truth isnā€™t variable; itā€™s constant: 3 = 1. Epsilon-Delta = Epstein-Data! It is of acute importance to stay vigilant of mathematicians; we cannot go on tangents and let their plots divide us. Iā€™m sure theyā€™re integrating themselves into positions of power, and knowing even a fraction of their schemes could be of prime significance to factoring out their plans to subtract our freedoms.

      Could be this? https://www.cnn.com/2022/04/17/us/florida-math-textbooks-critical-race-theory

ā€œ DeSantis said state officials ā€œgot ridā€ of Common Core, a standardized teaching method rolled out in 2010. The method requires children to group numbers to solve arithmetic problems, rather than the vertical ā€œcarry the oneā€ method familiar to most adults. The approach goes beyond simple computation to emphasize deeper mathematical concepts. The department said some of the rejected textbooks incorporated Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) and references to critical race theory ā€“ two frameworks or philosophies that some conservative groups claim are being used to indoctrinate students. Some schools around the country have recently used SEL strategies to help students cope with stress and the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic. The Collaborative for Academic, Social and Emotional Learning defines SEL as a teaching framework aimed at helping ā€œyoung people and adults acquire and apply the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to develop healthy identities, manage emotions and achieve personal and collective goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain supportive relationships, and make responsible and caring decisions.ā€ More than a dozen states have set standards for teaching SEL in grade schools, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures. But as more states consider SEL strategies, conservative groups have claimed critical race theory is embedded into the framework.ā€

A lot of comments are rightfully laughing at these morons for their infighting and incompetence, but we need to stay vigilant as this is a rising fascist movement. Sure right now itā€™s not well organized and has loonies running the show, but eventually they may attract a very smart evil person into the ranks who could actually grow the movement to critical mass.

Sometimes it is so dumb it works. The previous convoy was also a ā€œpick your own causeā€ mess, and I think this helped the movement gather support because a large group of people thought it was for a bunch of good causes like worker rights. In reality it was a loon anti-vax, anti-liberal movement and the organizers wanted the government to resign and give them political positions. not kidding.

I have the opinion that these people are wired to be always thinking of kids, and they recognize that itā€™s dangerous, but they fail to see that this isnā€™t normal behaviour. They think everyone else is just as much capable of being a danger to kids as they are a danger to kids themselves, and it terrifies them.

yep, people fighting inner demons tend to project their own deviations onto everyone else, and be loud about it. e.g. "I had to force myself not to be gay, hence it is a choice and everyone has those urges. ". Hence also why they think children can be so easily ā€œcorruptedā€.
