    Actually, though, now that you mention it, we do have to fix your pay. We’re going to give you a 10% cut. Really sorry, things are tight, and during these troubling times, we all need to make sacrifices. Also, we stopped paying into your 401k. Breaks over, get back before we dock you 15 minutes for every 3 minutes late.

    Not trying to mean but if you can accomplish the same message with text only, you’re not using the comic format well.

    If you pay me the absolute minimum amount that you’re legally required to, I’ll do the minimum amount of work I can get away with without being fired.

    Imagine your employer paid you a real living wage, gave you fair & paid annual leave, regularly thanked you for your contribution, and generally made you feel valued. You’d respect them and feel pride in your work, you’d definitely be more likely to give 110% effort.

    Work culture is rotten, you’re just a nobody to your employer. I’m speaking on my own experience anyhow.
