My favorite part of that saga is that Jason Aldean does not, nor has he ever, lived in a small town.

That he chose to film his video on the site of the lynching of an 18 year old black man is just the shit-frosting on a shit-cake.

it’s just a power fantasy for scared little weiner-men who say things like “I haven’t been in a fight in years because everyone loves me and thinks I’m great, but I could probably take 6 or 7 dudes if I had to” and “I wanted to join the marines, they could use a guy like me, but I’d beat the shit out of my drill sergeant the first time he got in my face”.

Give Jason Aldean a dollar, and he’ll make you feel like a big tough manly manny man man. It’s funny because when push actually came to shove we have him on video pushing and shoving his way through the crowd to get away from the danger.
