And then they disappear just as fast & decades later I still listen to the same albums in my car.
Pulse Ultra. One album. Absolutely fantastic. I’m sad and glad we’ve never gotten more… but what is out is perfect. So maybe a second album would’ve not been as good.
This guy gets it
Sleep Token.
Not a single song I haven’t enjoyed. All I need now are their vinyls and a turntable.
Worship!
They said “obscure little”, not “the most popular and hyped metal act currently, with sold out shows worldwide”
Not something I was aware of. Most people I talk to haven’t heard of them.
If it helps, I’ve never heard of them.
All good and all, and not trying to be a dick.
Saw homie was catching downvotes, figures to explain why.
Sleep Token rules. I saw them 2 months ago. Their merch line literally lasted longer than their show. By hours.
That will never occur at even a remotely small, remotely obscure bands show.
Metal is huge as a genre but it somehow still flies under the radar. 90% of people I meet have no clue about metal at all.
So, what bands are you talking about? Curious…
This is beyond obscure, this is 2000s turkish metal that tried to go for 80s garage metal
Thanks, will give it a listen
A song on YT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ixf3yxZVmHc
Don’t see more of their stuff on YT.
The above album is on youtube music, too.

Is good, I’ll try it as work music.
Ni!
Not sure if they’re that obscure, by some people’s standards, but here, have some Kardashev
Yes, Kardashev are awesome!
Blackbriar are pretty cool.
Lord of the Lost are one of my favorites but are getting bigger especially with Eurovision this year.
Warkings keep slapping.
Earth is great to listen to if you’re trying to read or write and just need to block out other noise. Apparently the guy behind the band was roommates with Curt Cobain.
I love me some Warkings! Their stuff is consistently fun.
This Seattle band is crazy good

Check out Eternal Champion’s latest release. It’s like Retro power metal. Incredibly well done.
For Black Metal fans, check out Toronto’s Thantifaxath. My personal fav release is Sacred White Noise.
Good shit. Both bands have a great catalog.
Champion is up my alley. I’ll have to give both of them a serious listen.
If you like Eternal Champion, check out…
- Riot City
- Gatekeeper
- Visigoth
- Megaton Sword
I love gatekeeper.
My recommendations:
Witchcraft
Flight
Haunt (sometimes called haunt the nation)
Night demon
Caludron
I gotta check out Eternal Champion…after I’m finished listening to Santana and smoking my Cuban cigar down in Miami 😊
I didn’t use Spotify until recently and it has opened me up to so many bands that I would have never found on my own. I never really listened to the radio much, and then had Tidal for a few years because of their ability to stream FLAC files and I had just bought mid-high end headphones. The app sucked though and the music selection is like a 10th of what is available on Spotify.
Look at gnoosic.com so many obscure bands. It’s an AI that recommends shit.
Directed me to a guy with 26 listeners once and it was solid.
Awesome thanks!
If throw out The Necromancers, though not sure if their obscure.
I’m a big fan of The Score, but they aren’t a metal band
Aether Realm is one of the best current melodic death metal bands and no one can convince me otherwise.
I’ve really been enjoying Faux Fiction. I haven’t disliked a single one of their songs. They are more indie/rock than metal, but still goes hard.

Definitely check them out live if you ever get a chance!
