    They really aren’t. Unless you’re protecting the rich instead of your actual constituents. The policy is simple. Most of it would be pretty easy to implement. The only real hangup is a lack of political will to help real people at the expense of the oligarch class.

      We’ve known first-past-the-post voting is terrible for a long time, every mathematical model I’ve seen of voting outcomes highlights this. When I told my parents about ranked choice voting, they had literally never heard of it, because alternatives to FPTP are not mentioned in popular culture.

      No one in power has any incentive to change things.
