Confirming you are advocating for violent action after baiting people to defend it =/= calling the bad mods out

There is a difference between these two things, something I know from not being one of the people who have trouble reading.

Confirming you are advocating for violent action

You keep saying this but that’s not what happened

You want it to be this so you can justify arbitrary modding decisions because mods disagree with public sentiment on Luigi and Israel so they censor it

Lemmy world is where luigi is committing a genocide and Israel did nothing wrong

The proofs and even what some of your arguments imply say otherwise. It’s redundant to clarify since I’m not from the World instance, but it would be putting words in my mouth to say “luigi is committing a genocide and Israel did nothing wrong”, as I simply condemn him for a murder he had almost every reason not to resort to especially considering his motives (and I condemn both sides of the Israel war going on right now). If one person stands by what Luigi did, it is wrong; if a hundred people do, it’s still wrong; if a million people do, it’s still wrong.

I agree with you!! He’s a murderer, regardless of who he killed, he’s a murderer. He deserves to spend rest of his life in prison.

If sensibility is an opinion to you, that explains a few things. Of note, the discussion where much of this took place in the first place was one about Elon Musk supposedly giving the Nazi salute and how it’s alarming to consider it protected under free speech. Saying it’s bad to say “death to all [insert random minority here]” isn’t an opinion, is it? Practically speaking, this is what you both (and the Luigi fandom as a whole) are doing in all but name.

No, you are attempting to smear the public opinion on the issue. You are constructing narratives to justify the censorship decisions.

Discussions around Thompson’s death being censored across all social media, do you expect anyone to respect this behavior?

You keep harping how any favourable comments re suspected assailant is is “promoting murder” it is “law breaking behaviour” but it is just a discussion and memeing. And Lemmy world is censoring. This is not modding.

                  any favourable comments

No, just the ones that float around the concept of eradication. Neither am I inventing narratives when it’s a deconstruction of things spoken by all of you verbatim, which I have the power to show everyone said.

You could have a positive view of one or a negative view of the other for certain reasons, as many people have. It’s specifically climbing the Allport Scale which is the issue. It is a matter of law, especially when services of many national backgrounds are in the question, and especially considering how it’s unfolding, there’s a small bit of irony in alluding to “worldwide censorship” and implying it has arisen regardless of respect.
