One of the planks weighed more than an entire new IKEA book cupboard. IKEA quality has gone down hill significantly. It used to be cheap but relatively good quality. Now it’s often (but not always) overpriced low quality stuff.
Like someone else said, ikea and don’t beat it up. Most of their stuff isn’t high quality lumber but it’s not particle board like Walmart either.
