I am not going to adjust my statement. I feel like you are just looking to start an argument and I would like to politely refuse to participate.
My friend, a simple Google search of “historic transgenderism in Asia” brought up plenty of information.
This one has it dating to 1540.
Here’s a published paper on it.
I’m pretty sure transgenderism is nothing new throughout all of history in all parts of the world.
But to call it strictly Western is patently false.
