Does Intel still sell the 8080? Because I think they’re code-compatible. Might even be pin-compatible.
Welcome. BBOARD is a great resource, and IRC is fun, too!
Thanks for sharing this here!
Great history!
I have a s.76 Gazelle laptop, and it’s been going good for about 4 years now. I rarely use the battery, so it stays plugged in most of the time. It’s been good, and the battery remains charged at 100%.
I still have my first VIC-20. Representing!
Which came first, DriveSpace or Norton Speed Disk? I thought Norton was first.
I did the same.
I’ve noticed that it happens less if I only click on the post title, not the text of the post.
Make sure the phone keyboard isn’t adding trailing spaces to the username. This prevented me from logging in.
300 baud home made.
As always, thanks to the admins for keeping things up to date!
Welcome! I worked a lot with Symbolics machines and sun machines running SunOS and then Solaris. I worked with other LISP machines as well (TI Explorer and Apollo, to name a few).
As always, thanks to @[email protected] for keeping things running smoothly! You guys rock!
Apparently, I’m at 300 baud :)
I originally used SDF for the UNIX shell, but have now been using Mastodon for a few years, and now Lemmy. I’ve also enjoyed listening to AnonRadio.
SDF is pretty good about updating software. This lemmy instance is new and a bit experimental for them, so it may take a bit before an upgrade.
The Sun workstations also had the optical mouse with a metal pad.
If you are ssh-ing in, I think you want tty.sdf.org.
