Xfce is just amazing. I’ve used it for many years, starting with Xubuntu I think and it’s my go to Linux version. So minimal and functional.
Seconding AdGuard . It’s really working well for me.
I’m so looking forward to this! You can tell from the trailer that the cast had so much fun!
My Brother HL 230 laser printer is so reliable. Had it for years and it never failed me.
I agree. Avery Brooks is stellar in the series and one of my favourites of all trek. I really hate that there never was a movie showing if Sisko ever got back from the prophets and what happened to Jake and Cassidy and their unborn child.
It was told beautifully in the season 8 books, but I would have loved to have seen it!
As for episodes Avery is stellar in, I would count Past Tense as well. It’s such an underrated duology and Avery is truly magnificent in it.
I agree. Such an emotional episode and Sisko’s heartbreak in that last scene. Man, I tear up just thinking of it. Such magnificent acting too. The love on Sisko’s face gets me every time.
I’ve had my SE3 for a year and the battery is already deteriorating fast, hope they’ve figured it out for the 4.
I’m actually surprised there will be a 4. I had the idea that apple wanted to stick with large everything.
I have small hands and large phones give me pain issues. Hope they will keep making SE’s now 😊
That’s great, thank you. I always just put on Lofi girl on YouTube or, if I want to work not connected to the internet, I put on a playlist for some of the albums I downloaded on my iPod nano.
Ps as for obsidian:
it is said to be comparable, but Obsidian was too confusing and limited for me. Logseq is intuitive for me and that’s what I need for my addled brain 😊
Logseq (my everything app)
Ulysses (for all my writing)
Procreate (for drawing)
Raindrop.io (for links)
Bend (stretching app, great for creating my own routines based on health status)
Antistress (app with all sorts of low stress games for when anxiety goes through the roof)
wefwef, vernissage and mona (fediverse)
My husband and I use a spreadsheet. It has a picture of the plant, information on care I pull from the web (so many great plant care sites around!) and a bit of info on when it was watered last and when last fertilised etc.
We have a large collection but the spreadsheet is still easily manageable.
That was such a great episode. I watched it last night and woke up thinking about it. Really great. I love the addition of Pella in the crew, and that La-An went to her for help later in the episode.
Do have to admit that I was a tad disappointed that Pella didn’t come to her at the end remarking something about the clothes looking familiar.
And this James T. Kirk is growing on me! I first wasn’t convinced, but he really was so good in this episode. The call at the end was so bittersweet.
I just love trials and tribbleations. The glee of the cast is just so lovely as well as the near seamless integration. Least favourite, to stay with ds9, is little green men because it was too predictable
Same here. Diptic is wonderful.
