Just shows the lack of knowledge LTT have really. They just dont understand Fairphone at all, or even how people use phones apparently…

If I have to contact support to do any mundane change to an account, my email usually begins with ‘Delete my account’.
Ubisoft lost it after AC Brotherhood.
Ah got ya, yea read into that selling, certainly a weird situation.
Just ignore the “triple A” industry and games are usually great. Lots of small passionate studios still pumping out quality stuff.
So these are just re-releases of Simple Mobile Tools?
There’s no such thing. It’s just milking people who are crazy enough to fall into the trap of buying them.
$30 is not a microtransaction, thats a macrotransaction, thats an entire other video game.
Free to play doesnt give a game a pass on predatory business tactics, they are free to play for one reason only… to sell you worthless pixels for ridiculous prices. F2P games are designed for that purpose and that purpose only.
But I agree that any paid game should have zero MTX, cosmetic or not. Industry is killing its creative aspect with all this monetisation shit.
Actual good feature from apple.
That country is fucked up. You people really have to come together and demand universal healthcare, as impossible as that sounds.
To be fair, chromium aside, edge did start as a nice browser, but as with all MS products, they end up getting riddled with more and more bullshit over time.
Just use Firefox.
Supporting projects is good and all, but you should only give money you would be happy just leaving on the side of the road.
This is purchasing a product though, not simply donating, so the developer needs to communicate. You are correct in saying a once per month update is all it needs, assure the people who have purchased your product. I would say my initial statement applies to small one-man run projects though as well, they are much more likely to be adandoned.
Convenient, easy to use, available everywhere.
People keep reading their tweets and clicking on the articles.
What’s new and advanced about this? Hasn’t it all already existed in some form? It’s just been Apple-ified, no? It’s just a VR headset, an actual AR headset is something like HoloLens.
Beyond the tech, who is even the target audience for this? I only see it as a gimmick, one for just Apple geeks to buy. One of the reasons 3DTV’s failed is because nobody wanted to wear the glasses, so why would anyone want to strap this to their face just to do something they already do or could do on their TV/computer/phone?
You can already pretty much do everything this can with an existing VR headset in one way or another, for a lot cheaper.
It’s a bizzare product.
Even when they get a new user on Linux, they still then scrutinise their choice of distribution, if not that then their IDE. There’s no winning and it’s off-putting for people considering the jump.
Dragons are much cooler than Wyverns, why do they keep getting dunked on like this :(
And the sewer is filled with literal shit, it doesn’t make a complaint over a pop-up ad on a paid tier any less valid. Get ya whataboutism out of here!
Emails, opt-in are fine yeah. I don’t mind the little Special offer button at the top either, it’s just the pop-up when I’m just trying to check my mails that is really intrusive.
I was wondering what happened to the Discord IPO. Discord already went to shit, I don’t know what else an IPO could do to it? More restrictions?
