Finally have had time to pick up TOTK again. Got all the light roots and want to get all the surface and sky shrines this weekend. Then Iāll finish all the side quests which will take a while. I 100%ād BOTW and going to attempt the same!
Ex-Reddit user so new to this platform. I enjoy scuba diving, summer sports and sharing experiences with friends and family. ā©I believe in an open source internet and am anti-monopoly/big corp. the people are the power and itās time to force change.

I just had my 2 year sobriety birthday this month and I completely agree with you, however, I do think the culture in America is shifting. Millennials arenāt drinking AS much and Gen Z much much less. The social pressure to drink is waning somewhat and I live in a state that has the most drinking per capita in the country.
Thereās a lot of N/A beers that have gotten much better to give people quitting an alternative (like nicotine gum or patches). Long way to go but I do think itās trending in a positive direction for people struggling. I understand this isnāt something some people feel comfortable with - I was very hesitant to try one for the first time after quitting because I wasnāt sure if it would spark the urge to drink real beer more but itās been great for me.
I donāt see a world where alcohol is restricted as much as public smoking but having alternatives is a big thing for me to feel less awkward in drinking social settings where i still feel like Iām participating in a healthy way for me.
Iāll have to rewatch that scene but Iāve watched the episode twice. It wasnāt my impression that he accidentally stabbed himself but that MāBenga was pushed to defend himself and stabbed him, thus finishing his mission on JāGal.
I know some people feel that MāBenga killing DakāRah felt disingenuous to Trek but I actually liked seeing that even though these characters are diplomatic and controlled have their limits of humanity and right and wrong and that some atrocities truly are unforgivable. The characters arenāt perfect and make mistakes and I like that - I feel like itās a more accurate representation of humanities struggle for peace.
I agree completely. I donāt want all TOS characters to take over, at least for another 2-3 seasons. Iām loving MāBengaās character and would hate for a McCoy to come in to replace him. Thereās a nice opening for Scotty to come into the picture without any character currently in that role but I also want this series to stand on its own. I love how the writers have gone back to an episodic series. It just works so well for trek
Trouble with tribbles is a fun watch. Based my username on it!
Nope that was the one thing I needed help with at the end and there was one ruins I hadnāt visited that contributes a little towards completion. Like I said though, over 1000 hours easily on the game.
How are you liking TOTK so far?
Breath of the wild for me. The switch only counts up to 500 hrs and I know Iām probably double that. 100% the game on master mode with very very little help from guides. I just love that game man. TOTK is great too but my heart is still with BOTW
I got all of the light roots first. Was easier to get all of them because you can follow the darkness. All shrines on the surface are directly above the light roots so itās easy to know where the shrines should be.
The sky shrines Iām missing 2 I believe so just exploring and Iāll find em. I know where one is for sure so Iāll just be missing one shrine. You can also do heroās journey to see where you have/havenāt travelled to see āoh I never went over there, probably a shrine missedā
