I thought about GameHub when having trouble with Winlator. Read an article titled something like “I installed GameHub so you don’t have to.” Happy to hear there’s a less intrusive alternative!

If you’re wondering if you would still be able to plug your phone into your computer to put files on it, let me ask you a related question: Do you think Google would kill the ability to plug your phone in and take pictures and video off of it? I think the answer to that is pretty obvious.

I have the GameSir X2 Pro and I love it. It doesn’t fit your criteria as it doesn’t fold into pocket size but maybe this is a recommendation for the brand?

Scrcpy does this. If you delve deep into the options you can even set up keyboard input only, but the default is screen mirroring the tablet to the computer. As to whether or not it works before running your OS I’m not sure, because it works via ADB.

I’m pretty sure I own it in on four different storefronts and I’ve never paid for it. It’s a lot of fun but I stopped playing before I got to fly. I don’t remember why.

I second Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance 1 and 2, and would also like to mention Champions of Norrath and Champions: Return to Arms for really similar PS2 games.

They’re using an iPhone so F-Droid is off the table. Is it also an attack vector on iOS?

I’ve tried a bunch of list-based launchers but I’ve bounced off them all, even on my tablet where I use fewer apps. Still interested in other people’s experiences, though. Maybe I’ll try again.

Still worth mentioning for the FOSS devs who might be looking for features to include.

Better for mobile applications, which I realize TVs are typically not but sometimes they can be mounted onto a cart or something.

I checked all the ones I had installed, no luck. Have you considered building one from source?

If somebody could summarise it for me that would be great. I don’t really care enough to watch it myself, but I’ll want to be in the loop enough to know what people are talking about when they reference it.
