Does this support extensions? Things like copilot and git diff plugins…?
Ah, sorry. I didn’t see that you require it to be free. It is also not open source IIRC.
There is Fork. But sadly, it is not available for Linux. Git-fork.com
DDG has ads in the search result. Laginis honestly a great service. You can easily filter results and it removes BS SEO spam…
I hate complexity. A few years ago, I wanted to add some feature to some personal code of mine. But I just couldn’t figure out how to do that without rewriting a significant portion of it to allow for that. There was another feature (let’s call it feature 2) that just added so much complexity to the code that made things hard. I had an absolute stroke of genius: Just delete feature 2. This probably sounds stupid but I felt like a goddamn genius. Just deleting something solved all my problems.
Fck. This is me. Jesus. Keep busy!
No. I have tested it extensively and sublime is just smoother. Try just doing a snippet and you will notice the difference in smoothness. Sublime is butter smooth.
Sublime text. It is just so fucking good! Much more performant than even nvim.
Another sticky… I understand that you want to convey info but why not just create a post without sticking and those interested in it will read it? I am not subscribed to [email protected] and I still see all stickies in my frontpage…
I don’t think the scale of what is happening at lemmy.world resembles what is happening on programming.dev. lemmy.world has 82k users. programming.dev has 4.4k. Hopefully more general instances are created, because it seems like people general instances as opposed instances such as mander.xyz and programming.dev. The beauty of decentralization is not being used to its full potential atm, I think.
Lemmy.world is ran by a pro. Dude runs one of the most used mastodon instances. The fact that Programming.dev is stable while .world is not quite so, is purely due to the amount of users. Get 80k on this instance and you will see what happens…
I checked the about page and damn… It is a for profit company and quite a big team! It consists of 26 people (!) to build a terminal… It is probably going to be a subscription at some point… Not for me.
Can we avoid pinned posts please?
I think you should open an issue. Not sure if this is lemmy or lemmy-UI, but definitely should be an issue.
Where does he say that he thinks it could still grow into something beautiful? You are commiting logical fallacies and cognitive distortions.
I am eagerly waiting for usernames and for something to happen that makes people go to signal. The few people I had there ditched it when it lost sms support.
Oh, thanks for linking!
This is a nice fact to show everyone how much more knowledgeable I am, when compared to them. Some nice dinner conversation show off.
