While I agree that Mic am not working can be difficult to work out with none technical people I have that experience with Teams every day. I work in IT, as do my colleagues and every morning the first call goes like “Can you hear me now?” “Gotta switch the mic.” …this is on teams on Windows/Mac and Linux … So in my anecdotal experience browser based solutions are no better or worse

Two additional commands I regularly use as a Sysadmin are
systemctl status without any unit to list show the general system status (lists units that are running, units that are starting and failed units right at the top)
And then
systemctl list-units --failed
To show me just the failed units and did deeper what the problem is.
On a properly set up system I should quickly be able to ascertain if everything is “up and running” just by systemds status
Antennapod does offer that by hooking into the gpodder.net API.ive had varying success with gpodder.net but hosting that yourself (I host it as an app on my Nextcloud) is a breeze

Can’t quite speak for the n100 but I got a n305 one of these “China PCs” it’s passively cooled (which was important since it’s running in my bedroom) and seems to have amazing performance for what I need (I put jellyfin on there). I’m quite happy after futzing around with ARM SBCs and external drives this just works so well.
Yeah might have gotten stuck on Debian as well if I didn’t make the mistake to run stable when I first tried it. Choosing stable made sense to me since I wanted a stable os but when I was greeted by “ICE weasel” that was way behind the Firefox I got used to on Ubuntu and other software being terribly out of date I decided to move on.
Well then I got stuck on Arch.
But while it would be easy to say “never looked back” that’s not true of course, these days I tun Debian on most of my machines (only that they are servers) and Ubuntu on some (like my work Laptop) my personal Desktop and laptop are Arch though and probably always will be.

Some cops are also fascists or support other fascist actors. Like when an attorney for the victims of the fascist terror group “NSU” got threat via fax signed “NSU 2.0” her Fax number was pulled from the data in Frankfurts 1sr precinct where a bunch of Cops were working that were also in a WhatsApp group sharing Nazi memes.
And the people investigating all of this? The police of course. Like when two police precincts were investigating each other both for killing a person “in self defense”.

Oof I envy you. I’ve seen my first video 1-2 years ago (the rice cooker one) and ever since I’ve watched all of his Videos (some three times) I’d love to get to experience all of them anew.
So … I was also interested by that question and intrigued by that photo, so I put on my research cap and went away.
From what I found out it seems to be both:
A staged photo/shot but from a historical movie called Dr. Mabuse the Gambler .
I was able to find the movie on YouTube with A seance scene which however does not seem to be the same scene (or at least a different angle) from the picture. If anyone has the time to scroll through all 4h of that movie the scene in the picture might be in there.

I might not be a great “Marx Scholar” and I don’t think the revolution will just be a peaceful process “whished into existence” but I don’t think Marx was Dunkin g on anti authoritarians here and to presume the “dictatorship of the proletariat” is the long term free society of Marx ideals is utter garbage. Communism will be anti-authoritarian or it will not be.
