8 months agoDistributions may support specific kernels longer than their ‘official’ end-of-life. For example, Ubuntu 22.04 will use the 5.15 kernel until April of 2027 even though it’s technically end-of-life in October 2026.
Sounds like it could be a ‘tortured phrase’.
