Damn, I remember digging Crazy Town for a bit back in high school.

I had no idea he was actually in prison. I thought he was still holed up in an embassy of some country.
Do you have grocery delivery in your area? If she isn’t picky with the brand of pizza, maybe a $6 frozen pizza heated in the oven would be an alternative. Not sure if you have to tip, I haven’t tried it myself.
Now it can not only tell you to eat rocks, but also what type of rock would be best for your digestion.
I bet at least 90% of us use that theme. lol
I experienced this once. I couldn’t time the swells of the wah pedal because I was too nervous and my foot kept locking up.
PrivacyTools.io, which had a nasty takeover and started selling ad space.
Didn’t know that. Thanks for the heads up.
Well if they didn’t make it so damn itchy.
Not sure how long ago you tried installing linux, but it has come a long way such that there are distros out there that are basically plug-and-play installable now. I installed Linux Mint on an old laptop and just went through the gui installer like you would on a Windows installation, and it was up and running. Didn’t need to open the terminal even once.
I need to pick up this show again. I started watching it but stopped a few episodes because I was very busy.
Other than DEFCON, Blackhat, and RSA, what are some good conferences to attend in the US this year? I want to plan ahead in case my employer finally releases some travel budget after stopping travel since the pandemic. I already attend my local Bsides and OWASP conferences so I’m looking for some interesting events that I can travel to. Otherwise, I’ll probably just go to DEFCON again. RSA has already passed.
To be fair, you can get injured by being pulled up violently while wearing your seatbelt, or you and your seatmate knocking heads while strapped down, so there’s still a slight chance. That or it was unpredictable turbulence maybe? So a lot of people were moving around the cabin.
That expression is hilarious. What’s the name of the template?
Same, but I also eat regular ice cream and frozen custard :(
It’s owned by EFF, which AFAIK is still a trusted org. You might be thinking of Adblock Plus or Ghostery.
One of his best songs. I love the chord and scale changes.
It’s interesting that they need a visa for travel to the US/Canada but are visa-free for Europe. Normally for most developing countries, if one of those regions require a visa, the others also do and vice versa. I would’ve thought the EU will require a visa.
Ah, yeah I feel you. That’s indeed an uphill climb especially if the higher ups themselves do not support you. I think a cybersecurity event is a good way to do it. If you end up getting smaller funding, you can also do short brownbag meetings with free snacks and/or giveaways. Free stuff is always an incentive for people to attend. Keeping events short (30 minutes or less) also helps. Then make your presentations interactive, instead of just lecturing do’s and dont’s to employees. Do scenario based discussions and let employees come up with ideas/solutions. That reinforces the knowledge if they feel like they came up with the answers and you validate them.
Has anyone here ever worked a tutoring job from Varsity Tutors? I keep seeing them on linkedin with tutor jobs focusing on security. I was thinking it might be a good side hustle tutoring for just a couple of hours a week for some extra income.
