There are many options for a PC application as well
There are many options for a PC application as well
Having android related communities be on one, specific instance has done wonders for the community imho
The PWA is very decent for a basic browsing experience. There are a few in the works, most notable being Artemis which is now in public beta I think. It uses the new Kbin API which is also in beta.
For now, the app can only be used with the artemis.camp instance, but soon Kbin.social and the rest Kbin instances will use the API and be usable with the app as well. It is inspired by Apollo btw
Try out Kbin, as well. Personally I have none of the usual Lemmy complaints
I use my PC for a combination of office work, programming and gaming. OpenSUSE is also my choice!
I have been running OpenSUSE Leap on my home server for 3 years, and I moved from Fedora after many years to OpenSUSE Tumbleweed on both my work and home (gaming) PC. I am super happy!
Having done the same trip (years of Fedora, then OpenSUSE) I’m super happy with my experience
Just stay away from anything that has a dedicated Nvidia GPU. I have tried everything, still no distro apart from popOS! that didn’t massacre my battery…
QTE can be done well imho, for example in Yakuza series they are rare enough to not annoy you and not THAT important but if you can hit them when they appear, it makes your hit just more powerful
AI should be trained by itself though. I just wouldn’t call LLMs “AI” as a term
Also, it shall be possible in the future to just feed it the documentation and have answers. Obviously we are still nowhere near yet
I contribute as much as I can, mostly through StreetComplete. I see it as a hobby when it isn’t too hot/cold outside, to take a walk around my area and map houses and addresses. I find it super important
Is used to, but they sold it, for some reason
It’s very usual for many cafés to have a couple of board games, especially if they are near a University
If you mean in boardgame cafés, they have pretty much everything. In cafés with board games, it is mostly faster card games, some games like Jungle speed or 7 wonders and similar, maybe Catan as well
If you mean in Greece in general, all of those that you mentioned I would say. It depends on the group
They are decently often in Greece, either as boardgame cafés, or (more often) cafés with boardgames. On the latter it’s rare to have someone to suggest a game or explain the rules so you have to read them yourself. Used to go very often while a student
I feel I’ve been hearing this exact thing for a decade now
Hopefully kbin API will become compatible with Lemmy’s soon
Having worked with both as a dev, can’t really understand MyBB over phpBB. I found it much friendlier to both the users and the devs
I pretty much do the same for almost a decade whenever a game doesn’t have a demo available
