Wait…that’s an ADHD thing? I do this, and I often wondered why when no one did the same…
Just a guess based on my experience with Adderall: for me, Adderall primes the “motivation” pump, but I need to have a direction for the flow or I go all over the place. You were directing the flow until you went on vacation, and then you were still taking the meds, but there wasn’t the impetus to direct the flow. (And, there shouldn’t have been–you were on vacation!)
So, in addition to other suggestions, could the following week been getting readjusted to directing the flow? I’m glad it was a temporary issue, though!
I unapologetically have pill caddies for my morning, noon, and night pills–no way I’d remember or keep track without them.
There seems to be two choices: compression vests, which do come in adult sizes, and weighted vests for working out, which is what I was thinking of. It looks like you can get one at Walmart for $26 or so that can be weighted up to 110 lbs. Hope that’s helpful!
