On second thought, they don’t specifically have support for Atmos but I was under the impression that as long as the device playing the content natively supports it, it should be fine.

Apple’s implementation of Spatial Audio uses Dolby Atmos, so I was wondering if the same was possible on Android.

But the question is, if I’m playing Dolby Atmos content, what should I use then? It’d make more sense to use the Dolby Atmos setting but that one doesn’t have head tracking (that my headphones support).

Edit: also this is not about converting a stereo stream; I’m playing native Atmos content.

Gotta say that the very NON-tech savvy people I know had one of these reactions to the change:

• they didn’t even notice;
• they like it better now;
• they don’t care at all as they never open it.

That’s almost impossible.

They’re not gonna have a Windows situation with 2 settings apps, and they have no good reason to revert their changes, since it would be against the unification of the interface across iOS and macOS they’ve been pushing hard for years.

Same can be done without a mouse using ctrl+click on Windows and Linux (usually), or cmd+click on macOS.

Going to a PeerTube home page feels like a weird mix of Interdimensional Cable and very early YouTube.

Discoverability is almost 0 and I can’t easily find any videos that I’d like to watch, as you said. I assume most people would leave once they see what’s on the home page.

The Vision Pro has a lot of high-end components beside the screen, but I’m still afraid that the display represents a very high percentage of the cost.

The more I think about it, the trickier it gets: like the M2, it could be swapped for something cheaper, but then could it drive that monster of a display?; or all the cameras and sensors, but then wouldn’t the pass through look bad?

I guess they could do away with the fancy audio. I don’t know if OpticID is already easy to do once you have eye tracking, otherwise they may remove it too.

How do you deal with it?

For me this is a huge problem: sometimes I even end up going to sleep at 6 am or later!

But, then, to be completely honest, I often genuinely don’t want to go to sleep. So I don’t know how much of this is a ‘natural predisposition’.
