So not only do they loose the direct revenue from the subscribers, but because the readership has fallen significantly & publicly, advertisement revenue is going to fall, too, as the advertisers know the paper isn’t reaching as many readers.
It’s super annoying, but even though they’re all airing at the same time, Picard, Lower Decks, and Prodigy all take place at slightly different times. At least they’re consistent with TNG stardates, where 41000 is 2364, and each 1000 stardates equals one Earth year, so you can get a year from a captain’s log entry. From Memory Alpha:
Lower Decks: 2380-2382
Prodigy: 2383–2385
Picard: 2399-2341 (Ignoring flashbacks)
I miss the TNG / DS9 / VOY era, when shows airing concurrently all take place at the same time.
It’s not much of a commitment. He’s never going to say that he lost.
She had a stroke in 2015, but, through the encouragement and support of her friends in the music community, she recovered enough to do occasional live performances again by 2022. The recording of that live set won a Grammy.
I’m guessing the people writing these laws don’t realize that trans men exist too, because I’d almost guarantee they’re going to throw a tantrum when a trans man is forced into the women’s restroom.
I don’t like the guy either, but I don’t like that situation has devolved to the point that he can no longer step outside due to assassination attempts. That level of political violence should not be normalized. (And yes, we all know who was stoking the flames here, this is mostly his own doing.)
It fits, English and JavaScript are both three languages in a trench coat.
To pander to the segment of the electorate DeSantis thinks is going to reelect him.
You can’t launder foreign campaign donations by selling things at wholesale prices.
Is that DJ GabeN dropping beats on the Deck’s screen?
I’m curious with all the nonsense Trump and Vance are spewing about Springfield if Ohio starts to come into play. I may be dreaming, they were up 8 or 9 points before the debate, but I haven’t seen any new numbers since.
It doesn’t even matter. Even if Taylor Swift never makes another dollar, she’s still set for life.
Such projection. Trying to drastically change the rules less than two months before Election Day, that’s rigging.
Why do we have to keep fighting for a higher minimum wage? We should just set it at a livable rate then have it automatically adjusted annually based on CPI or a similar economic metric.
Strong disfavoravilty can also translate to enthusiasm. I know a lot of people turned up at the polls last time because they were meh on Biden but very much against Trump.
Computer, end program. 🫡
The Republicans haven’t won the popular vote for the Presidency since George W. Bush’s second term, and he was riding a high from his post-9/11 actions; he lost the popular election to Gore the first go round. The last time a Republican won the popular vote for their first term was George Bush Sr. in 1988.
Yeah, but Trump famously needs to flush eight or ten times to actually get anything to go down the toilet.
That’d be big if it actually pans out. Iowa wasn’t considered a battleground state, so I’m not sure anyone had it worked into a road to 270 model. (Iowa’s six electoral votes, if anyone’s curious.)
