Surely we have to announce at least one new signing today right? The squad leaves for the US on Sunday. I’m not sure if the club would take the announcements into the US tour
We should at the very least be getting back what we paid for him. If we get an offer for £5m-£6m, I think Arsenal will accept the bid.
The academy lads looked really good, especially Nwaneri. Kiwior also did fairly well in the inverted LB role. Saka is just growing from strength to strength. Saliba looks like he hasn’t missed a step.
Ben White too.
Get INNNNN
I think Havertz will be announced today, since the first interview has leaked already. I think Rice will be wrapped up by Thursday/Friday
Really hope Rice deal gets done soon. Getting anxious even though we kind of know he only wants to come to Arsenal.
I think that any leak of transfer comes from the opposite party/agents. Arteta and Edu try to get things done with as little information leaking as possible. The only one that gets news straight from the club is Ornstein.
Really hoping for a positive Ornbomb soon.
Ornstein bombs out of no where are the best.
May I ask why? Its the opposite for me. I feel like the team has started to become exciting after a long time. I’m even more excited for the near future of the team.
Shame he couldn’t make it here. He has talent, but I think he lacks application. Could never really make any position his own. Best of luck in the future.
Felt like an NFL game with all the stoppages. Might as well have a brawl at the end as well.
This is exactly what it looks like. West Ham are trying to get the maximum price from us. City are probably still working on getting Gundogan to re-sign with them.
This City news about wanting Rice seems like it smoke and mirrors. I think West Ham want a bidding war, but City generally don’t get into one. This seems like an effort on West Ham’s front to get us to pay their asking price.
We should leave Havertz for the last possible moment. Nobody else is in for him and they need to raise funds. We can possibly get a good deal on this if we wait.
We’ll probably leave this until late in the window. We’d be foolish to spend that much on a player before our priority signings are finished.
Such a strange signing he was for us. Good luck to him.
