No, it’s not. 🕳
No, it’s not. 🕳
I don’t believe that the lack of a warning was an honest mistake. 😉
Best we can do is remember the name “Tibor Kaputa” and avoid his apps that might pop up in the future. 🕳
Your battery’s still short of 4 hours. 😁
Sorted. Had a bit of trouble debugging issue with Librewolf and the extension, but got it working.
While I was at it, converted my notes from Anytype to Joplin, and set up sync as well. Wanted to try out Joplin for quite some time now.
Weekend started nicely. ☕
Nice. Thanks for details! 🍻
I’ll try it out over the weekend.
Yep, was afraid of that. Sadly, not a solution for me then.
Thanks nevertheless! 🍻
Thanks for the info. How does it sync?
Never mind. Now I see it’s with SyncThing.
Thanks for the input and research.
Too bad because there are no other Bitwarden cons for me. Any recommendations?
Tried Proton Pass yesterday, and while it looks nice, browser extension not having a password lock is a deal breaker for me.
Also, I found out in the evening that after trying out Pass during the day and quitting on it, all my aliases in the SimpleLogin are gone. I know Proton owns it, but I wasn’t expecting that by deleting data on Proton (not the account itself), aliases could get deleted…
Still, not sure if it’s connected. I use SimpleLogin independently of other Proton services, but same primary email. Waiting for support.
Let me correct that for you:
iOS 18.2 Finally Forced to Allow Third-Party Browser Web Apps With Custom Engines in EU
P.S. Thanks, Brussels.
I checked out Tailscale, and my 👀 popped when I realized what it does! 😄
I proceeded to install it on my phone, only to realize a moment later that my connection was down. I headed over to my Rethink DNS firewall and saw that Tailscale had taken over my VPN connection, causing Rethink to shut everything down (as it’s supposed to).
Now, unfortunately, I’m probably gonna find out that Tailscale needs highly sought out for VPN slot on Android, and that I can’t use it because I’d have to drop my firewall? 🙈
Just had a look at Kitty and from what I understand, it’s an emulator, and it’s fast, has ligatures.
Since I rarely use terminal outside of VS Code, i.e. zsh shell on Mac, I don’t quite understand what would I get from it?
Reviews say it’s fast, has low latency between typing and the text appearing on the screen - I’m not seeing latency either way. The text is there, can it get any faster? 😅
I’ve interpreted like that as well. 🤔
I will change for sure, as well. Let’s see.
Aves Libre.
Okay. Thanks, guys. 🍻
I’ll think about it for my next phone when the time comes.
Is Pixel, ironically, the only device with unlocked bootloader and seemingly with most control, i.e. ability to easily install another OS?
HTML, CSS, Javascript. Works like a charm for simple sites, and it’s very lightweight. Things’ve progressed a long way in these vanilla’s. 😉
On a side note, if anyone uses Omnivore, I discovered yesterday that they have sold out as well (to an AI startup). We got a 2 weeks notice to export our stuff because accounts will be deleted.
