I think Baylan was disappointed that Anakin never really “restored balance to the force” the way he had hoped. He’s made it clear he liked what the Jedi Order once represented, not what it had become and was probably hoping Anakin would be the one to finally end the destructive light vs. dark cycle and break the Jedi order away from its dogmatic inflexibility back to being a force for peace. Instead, he just wrecked everything, joined forces with Palps and set up another Light vs Dark cycle. Baylan wants to break that cycle.

I’m less bothered by the way they’re depicting her force sensitivity than I feared from the trailers. I think they’re implying everybody’s got* a little,* and Sabine’s probably a 2/10 while a Jedi’s usually at least a 5 or something along those lines. I’ll watch and see where they take it. I’m fine if she doesn’t get full telekinesis/mind powers and just gets good with a lightsaber and fight moves along the lines of Chirrut.

I’m also fine with making the SW universe a little less nepotistic and you don’t have to come from some great force-wielder dynasty.
