Nevermind. After days of back and forth with them they said that they only have that feature available to big companies that have an account with them for a year or more, which is definitely annoying. I’m going to give Brevo a shot next, I heard someone mention them in a thread before about this. It looks like their free tier allows for 300 emails a day. I’ll let you know how that goes if you are still looking.
I bet this happens to a lot of people unless they get sucked into a YouTube/truthsocial echochamber rabbit hole.
Oh wow that looks like it might be perfect thanks so much! I just switched to a random other instance but luckily switching instances on Mastodon is easy. Especially since I don’t post there much. Ill move there now, thanks again!
Another reason to move away from companies that harvest and sell your data as much as possible.
I am in the exact same boat. I just switched to Proton as it looked like they had these features right away. But it turns out you have to explain what you want to use smtp for before they allow you to generate tokens. Which is probably due to them attracting a high amount of scammers due to their really good privacy. So I can understand but it is a tad annoying. If you are willing to wait I’d give them a try. Their business plan is cheaper than googles and gives you a lot and they are open source.
I definitely agree with that. But at the same time this is almost as good a cause as any for all our bloated military budget to go to. Besides Ukraine.
I would also like to know.
Yes! Anything by Griz all the time!
Yeah I was wrong. I use Jerboa mostly.
I guess I was wrong. I shouldn’t have assumed. I’m using Jerboa.
I don’t think other people can see it though. On Reddit bot accounts would rack up karma so that when they switch to posting spam it looks like they have a lot of karma and are someone who posts worthwhile things.
Good. Another reason to love Valve.
Sounds like they had a hand in the one in the 70s as well. https://www.wionews.com/opinions-blogs/how-disney-routinely-exerted-influence-on-the-us-copyright-law-to-keep-its-greatest-asset-mickey-mouse-549141 But yeah not quite as cut and dry as I initially put it.
I think that’s how it originally was until Disney realized they were gonna lose Mickey Mouse after Walt Disney died and single handedly got copyright law rewritten in their favor.
For sure that makes total sense. It’s sounding, though, like the law has more broad implications than just the front lines. But I haven’t looked that much into and like I was saying I do trust that it’s for the right reasons.
This is unfortunate. I think it is probably a response to people leaking military strategy as well as going up against Russian propaganda. But freedom of the press is an extremely important part of a healthy democracy so at what cost.
You can get both of them for your phone for a few bucks as well. That’s how I played them for the first time and had a blast.
You better figure it out before the bed bugs bite.
