  • with certain corners of the internet going after Headland, who is a member of the LGBTQ+ community

That’s some odd phrasing. Are they not allowed to say that someone is gay?

It feels like they are trying to dog whistle something, but I’m not sure what. Or was all the criticism completely unrelated and they are trying to stretch a point?

    [Update]

I have been educated that this is not an uncommon phrasing to use by someone who is gay.

Presumably following the motto of a rising tide raises all the ships and they have expressed a preference for their success to be viewed as a success for everyone?

    TIL.

  • They can be a bit thinner, but considering how much Neck Oil is in your face I don’t think that’s necessarily a bad thing. Its more the lagers that just taste of malt juice that I dislike.

If you want stuff that isnt thin then Laser Crush by Beavertown is pretty good, and Special Effects by Brooklyn is amazing considering its 0.5%. (IMHO).

Both can be picked up at either Tescos or Sainsburys.

And as mentioned, Guinness 0.0 tastes the same. I’ve had that a few times at Twickenham, and its just as good but it could have been the atmosphere.

What surprised me more was that I was recently out in California, and most supermarkets I visited either didn’t have an option or only had one Athletic, which you can get in Tescos but is probably one of the weaker IPA options.

  • As per the initial comment, those that didn’t vote Tory mostly moved to Reform not to LibDem.

Because LibDem wouldn’t make sense, as a pro-trans, pro-EU, pro-increase tax to pay for public services party they don’t offer anything that Tories want.

That was a wishful thinking comment that some Tories might want to not move far-right, those that find the Tories unpalatable due to their shitty views have already moved.

I would suggest that your more likely to find folks who voted LibDem to move to Green now that they’ve rebranded themselves to something other than crusty hippies. I know my mother moved from voting LibDem to Green.
