I think they meant that presidents should be forgettable and avoid damaging stuff

So let’s put pressure on our government to do that instead of trying to shoot ourselves in the foot.

It’ll be okay to vote third party (in a social sense since it’s already allowed legally) when we change the election systems that we use so that third party votes are not spoiler votes. Let’s abandon First Past the Post and use something like Ranked Choice Voting or better.

This does not say she is bragging about doing anything sexual with Trump. She is trying to deny it.

I like to think that being called weird isn’t an insult. But it is being taken as an insult when used on people who call others weird as an insult themselves.

He’ll probably blame rigged elections for his loss. In his mind, he wants to avoid the idea he ever made a bad choice.

It seems like it is useful to try to speak to the median voter and (supposed) undecideds who would be affected by this. There are lots of other publications with different perspectives. Is it bad necessarily that this one exists and operates this way?

To break free from the 2 party system, we need to improve our election systems to allow for it, and to do that we need political advocacy and action. Ranked Choice Voting at least.

Certainty is a dangerous thing when people lie out of self interest or from coercion.

Trump seems like he is more likely to dismiss the war or help the Russian side by weakening NATO. Why would Biden be preferable to Russia if he is going to continue trying to supply Ukraine?

Perfect intersectionality is a goal, an ideal that we can be measured against, but there must be a transition to it because we are not there in many ways. Places holding themselves to a strict or impossible standard are probably hurting themselves in the short term, but I still think that it is a good goal to work toward.

Deaths would happen regardless if they can’t defend themselves

The planes are more fuel efficient at certain speeds slower than their max speed. It’s not just cost savings for the airlines, but savings for the earth.

I’m fairly certain that tolerance does mute the spiciness of foods. There are foods others struggle with that I hardly notice is even spicy.

It feels more like building a muscle than building a skill.
