Even if it’s off by 4 with Trump winning Iowa, which would be well outside Selzer’s typical margin of error, it would point to a huge herding and overestimation of other polls toward Trump in the Rust Belt. If this is spot on, this election would probably have Harris win with the biggest landslide since 1988.

Yes, agreed. But using the climate argument is something I haven’t seen before. Bernie is truthfully presenting that the climate effects of a Trump presidency would be about the most catastrophic thing that could happen to humanity worldwide, short of a full nuclear exchange. We’re talking about a multitude of genocides on a global scale. Gaza is a huge problem, but there are even bigger problems that Trump would exacerbate.

When I canvased it was to a specific list of registered Dems they were looking to get to the polls. Talk to your local field office again. They won’t send you directly into the field of fire to deal with MAGAts if you don’t want to. The couple I did talk to, I just encouraged or thanked them for voting.
