Wait until they learn about nightshade
It’s half-joking. Probably the least useful tone indicator. Like, what half are you joking about?
Ostrich eggs. Single cell, though different since it’s a haploid cell.
I mean, that article says it is true. It’s not a live or a whole wasp, but there is a wasp used to grow the fig. It’s just broken down in such a way that it’s impossible to distinguish the waspy bits from the figgy bits. Like when you eat nachos. Eventually, some part of you will be made of nachos, but it would be impossible to tell those parts apart from another other parts.
I used sarcasm to deflect because you made me feel uncomfortable. I wasn’t talking about, nor was I interested in talking about, his recent acting choices or lack thereof. I made an innocuous, positive comment about him because I like who he appears to be as a person. There wasn’t an invitation there to debate his merits as an actor.
Oh no! My favorite actor playing my favorite character. Truly an awful time to live
Woo. Let’s go support the country performing a genocide. How fun. /s
Doug Jones is a national treasure
That’s not true either, it takes way more energy to drop your orbit the further out you are, regardless of eccentricity. It’s easier to curcularize near apoapsis, easier to change apoapsis and orbital planes at periapsis. The trick, however, is that bonus from periapsis works on being at any periapsis (ie, a near miss of a planet), just need the speed boost from being nearest the gravity well. That’s what gravitational slingshots are. I think a sun trajectory uses Jupiter a few times for maneuvers.
I’ll take the time to share my friend’s band. Corsair, a Pirate themed Adventure Metal band
Oh man! You’re so clever, how would anyone get this joke? So clever!
Cool. See my first comment where I said all of the Belchers were good representation (meaning coded-as and good reps of) but not canonically autistic. So, what point were you trying to make?
Also, Abed is canonically Autistic, just not diagnosed (as per show runners)
Louise: She’s autistic. She can’t help it.
Tina: Yeah, I’m Autistic.
Hugo: Bob.
Bob: Just a sec. No, you’re not autistic, Tina
Is that the reference? Cause that looks pretty definitively like a child mocking another child and not a diagnosis or canon confirmation. The only other reference in that episode is a callback joke to this bit.
All of the Belchers are great representation, though none are canonically Autistic.
I don’t like the blaming the victim mentality here. Sure, the games aren’t super great, but they use skinner box mechanics to get players to feel like they have to pay. Skinner Boxes are literally dopamine machines, meant to program behaviors. To fully lay the blame on the players instead of acknowledging that the games themselves are mostly to blame feels pretty gross.
I’m so tired of that word
