Main problem is, ram isn’t upgradable on recent Apple tech, and you’ll need ram for containers, if you’re gonna host it to the CPU limit, if not, then even more so, brand new intel n100 mini pc for 100-150$ is gonna do wonders for you in self hosting field, what I’m saying is, if your MAIN goal is self hosting, then Mac is not optimal, i mean, you can buy Mac mini for your daily tasks and intel n100 mini pc for pocket change you’ll have left after buying Mac, and host your projects on intel one while using Mac yourself

Number is priority level, 100 is equal priority as real ram, over 100 is higher priority than real ram, less than 100 is less priority than real ram, and as far as I’m aware, max number is 200 and minimal number is 0

I have Nvidia gt210 in office, and latest Linux mint installed, no proprietary drivers for my GPU is installable, they exist, yes, but you can’t install them on latest Linux mint

It’s more like reducing global ewaste and keeping ecology better, when apple drop support, people better use still capable hardware than buy a new one from apple

I always used vlc for this purpose, download iptv playlist from GitHub and use it in VLC on any device
