“This complicates our plans for a land bridge to Kaliningrad!”
You’ll notice that the report doesn’t estimate whether they died before or after Israel’s incursion.
Ain’t no party like a 50 cent party 'cuz a 50 cent party don’t stop.
China is having massive economic problems currently. Who is OP trying to convince otherwise? Ignore the cape. Watch the bullfighter.
Uh, have you seen the Chinese economy recently?
Also, when your economy is doing so poorly it’s easy to do better. When your economy is doing well, it’s more difficult to improve.
Mathematically, if I give a naked homeless person with no worldly possessions a sandwich, they have infinitely more wealth. It’s still just a sandwich though.
For anyone who’s been following along, Russia should have been able to take Avdivka over a year ago. For it to have taken this long really says everything. If this is a “turning point” in the war, there is still quite a lot of room for optimism.
I feel like we’re getting hung up on the definition of genocide. It is reasonable to believe that what is happening in Gaza does not fall under the definition. That doesn’t make it any less horrible. People are having a semantic argument while others perish.
Yes, the vague equivalent would be for the Native Americans to reclaim the United States via superior force ~1800 years from now.
It would put Israel “on the back foot” in regards to the conflict. Israel would be tied up negotiating for hostage release which is exactly where Hamas wants them. It stops being a question of who is winning a battle and turns it into “how much is Israel willing to sacrifice”.
“European settlers” in the sense that they hadn’t been in Israel since the Romans kicked them out in '65 for causing too much trouble with all their messiahs and religious zealotry.
There’s a whole conspiracy regarding Covid that RFK Jr. is blathering about. Supposedly this data breach targeted Jews and Chinese folks. I’m assuming that it’s related in some way, but it’s not clear how.
I was at Buckingham Palace watching The Queen’s ghost welcome a diplomatic party of chupacabras from Jalisco. I didn’t even take my phone with me. I’m that stupid.
The radioactive component is mostly tritium. As long as they get almost all of the heavy radioactive elements, the hydrogen isotopes are basically harmless in the quantities we’re talking about here. The ocean is a very, very big place.
I do not know why they do not import more food
Food costs money and they’ve chosen to spend what money they have elsewhere. It is a matter of priorities. It’s ok, they don’t have to worry about being voted out of office over failing the public.
US uses far more energy per capita than most countries
Incorrect (for a while now). Did you follow the link in my message?
One thing I find interesting about the fediverse is that it is so empty that you can occasionally see honest-to-God pro-NK propaganda. NK lost a quarter of a million people to starvation in the 1990’s and are on a fast track to repeat the past. So glad you have access to the internet. Good for you.
