Damn, and they even pathologized it. I guess some things never change.
I’ve amended my comment to make it more clear. I didn’t mean to imply the app sends your data to third parties, only that the company who owns it profits off of third party information brokering. Where that information comes from is beside the point in my opinion.
PSA: Nova Launcher’s owning company sells their user data. It was a good launcher when it first came out, but it’s been nothing but a downward spiral from there.
Edit for clarity: I don’t mean the app itself. It is owned by an entity that exists to sell consumer data.
The red dot means nothing to me. My brain has apparently learned to block it out nearly completely.

I figured out you can disable Bluetooth telephony services if you navigate deep into the printers and other devices control panel. But this might also disable the mic. I’m not able to test it right now.
I wonder if there’s any way to unlock the parts once they’ve been separated from the phone that locked them. It definitely seems like they’re just trying to kick the can on right to repair and say they’re definitely dedicating resources to sustainability and consumer protection.
Sooooo, this guy’s gonna have a 24-hour security detail, right? Right?
I’m wearing one right now!
That blue tub brings back some memories. Lots of hurt feet.
I need to go back and play FEZ again. Tunic was an awesome experience that felt like I was playing a Zelda game made by Phil Fish.
I actually paid for Apollo and I have no regrets doings so. I’ve never been paid for any of my programming work. In fact, it’s all been done under the auspice of a student loan that I didn’t even get a degree from, so I paid for my own programming work. The fact that Reddit is trying to extort these indie developers disgusts me to the highest degree.
I paid for the Apollo app when I used iOS, and I do not regret it in the slightest, because I’ve never been paid for any of the programming I’ve ever done. In fact, it’s all been done under the auspice of a student loan that I never earned a degree from. I’m happy to see someone get paid for their programming work and the fact that a multi-billion dollar company is trying to extort these programmers disgusts me to the highest level.
