Yeah french presidents have been able to get elected in those “best of two” presidential elections (you vote twice, the second round is the top two from the first, so very easy to manipulate) by helping the far right getting into the second place (started with Chirac or even earlier) so you only have one reasonable choice (Democracy vs not).
People got fed up with it, got numb to it, and also the far right have become more of a populistic party too (on the outside at least).
It doesn’t help Macron seems to believe he’s some sort of rightful heir after those shenanigans too and just brutally impose what he wants without taking into account what the people want (there have been massive strikes and protests, even by french standards, to absolutely no avail).
Sigh.
Comments? Comments? Who needs comments?
Are you talking about oil and gas?
Yeah but how is the Kremlin going to control us with their gas & oil if we have nuclear?
Checkmate uh pro democratic people I guess?
I thought ruzzia shoots down everything always and there are never casualties??!
Edit: /S you iron deficits
Same, and also for the C64 :-)
That was true when every studio had their inhouse engine, optimized for their game types.
Today we have 100.000 times more power and “everyone” goes with a prebuilt engine so I don’t think your point is valud, any more at least.
BTW yesterdays sunset here :
When we’re talking about sun sets, I heard somewhere (a meme with jesus ?) which says the pink is pollution.
Iny info about the pink in the sunset?
Cheers
Wooden IKEA one.
What is localhost now again…
Edit, remember you could use 127.0.0.1, but then it was changed to like 127.0.0.1…something…ff
So guess I was wrong :-) thanks for the info!
My work windoz machine clogged up quite much recompiling large projects (GB s of C/C++ code), so I set it to use 19/20 “cores”. Worked okayish but was not some snappy experience IMO (64GB RAM & SSD).
Yeah lets arm the children! And school teachers!
🤡
BTW you can understand that “outside the classroom” with just minimal intelligence IMO.
So grow up and make harsher gun laws?
I think that’s actually one of the few ways that could work out well.
Stop embarrassing yourself 🤣 what’s next, polar bears in Sicily?
You just had an emotion, which was the result from an opposite emotion.
Yeah but except the 3D modeling & Godot the rest isn’t using a quarter of half of 10% of the VRAM or the GPU (probably way less).
I mean I had 3dStudio, Photoshop & the multiplayer 3D game + server I was working on open without a hassle (plus browser, audacity, …) on a standard E8400 Core in 2010.
A full HD screen is like 2M pixels, you can write that 100 times at 60hz with a 6600GT.
It’s just a non issue, or I’m missing something here.
Well that’s not how it works?
I mean you play 8 games, have photoshop and 3DStudio open at the same time?
Modern GPUs can handle a lot, 10 programs painting the whole screen is easy peasy, but again, when do you have 10 softs open at the same time??
I’m quite confused why this could be a problem outside some artificial setup :-)
Texts on computers is made this way, so use a magnifying glass on black white text in a word document (for example) and you’ll see lots of colors. zoom in using the computer and you will still just see black/white.
