I feel like Trump is kinda the type of guy who would say shit just to stir the pot. Plus, fascist love for the public to think they are more competent than they really are, especially if it makes them seem like they are the underdog pulling one over on the establishment. Same thing works for musk.
Right now, the market for them is distorted by the tax stamp. Only a few people bother with the paperwork and fee (even though it’s been highly streamlined in recent years). That means companies producing them have to make up their costs with high prices rather than volume. It’s almost a stealth tax on top of the stated tax.
Oh I agree, I’m not saying that the system we have is great. I just don’t think the majority of people are buying suppressors because of the added hearing protection.
Personally I just don’t see the point of suppressors. Maybe if I had a bunch of land or something and got to shoot by myself all the time. But me having a suppressor isn’t going to help much if the guy in the lane next to me is shooting with a muzzle brake.
The cost of subsonic ammo alone is enough that I wouldn’t run a suppressor even if they were cheaper.

I mean you still have to wear hearing protection with them, especially if you’re at a range where the vast majority of people aren’t using a suppressor.
If you’re going to be spending money on getting a suppressor and shooting subsonic rounds I think most people will probably go for .300 blackout.
Lol, I’ve never seen these guys before. I can imagine they might get a little too pressurized if you’re not careful. I just use old kimchi jars and keep them in a bowl in case my kimchi gets a little too excited and burps up some juice.
Yayaya, eating fresh kimchi is hard to resist but can be a tad too salty. I usually leave it out overnight with the jar placed in a clean bowl and the lid slightly open to let out any gas. You might get a little spillage from the juices, but you can just pour it back in from the clean bowl. Basically just gives the kimchi a little kick start for the fermentation, but I like my kimchi to have a little extra kick.
Be careful with changing the salt ratio too much, it’s important to help stabilize it during fermentation. As the kimchi ferments it will become less salty tasting as the salt pulls liquid out of the radish.
