Does Sunshine/Moonlight still blow Steam Remote Play out of the water or does this bring them up to par?

^^ It’s me, he’s talking about me and my tribe of people!
Apple consistently doubling down on consumer privacy is their BEST trait
Sometimes having those privacy extensions make you a lot easier to fingerprint.
Houses are pretty great for a few factors
Apartments fucking suck in so many ways. I get that they’re pretty handy in City Skylines where everyone bases their urban planning experience from but there is a reason people prefer to live in house and it’s because it gives you separation from other people in a way apartments cannot.
I enjoy Lex’s longform style but man he does nothing journalistic, which drives me crazy. He’ll ask a hard question but never pushes back on answer cause he’s concerned about being friends with everyone moreso than actually challenging someone’s PR answer that never exists in reality.
When your topic is AI, and it’s at the forefront of national attention you’re pretty useless if you don’t have the stones to actually challenge these pie in the sky type answers the regulars give on his show.
Altman “It’s going to make money useless and probably result in massive unemployment. But I think everyone should have some say in the development in AGI and how we handle it.”
Lex “Wow that’s so noble. Anyways, do you think we can have AI friends someday.”
Like you don’t have to be mean or rude but you gotta have the courage to press some of these guests on their bullshit.
Should be the default option
Valve pushes the medium forward in most everything they do. And they do it while not being dicks, too. I hope they can stay true to this direction forever.
If you’re not going act rational, you can’t solve any problems big or small. Climate change is a big one, if you burn down your forests it will worsen climate issues in your country. You have sovereignty to do so, but it ultimately hurts your progress as well as damages the global effort to address the effects of the changing climate.
No one on this planet currently had anything to do with any of this, we actually live in year 2023 where we know the consequences of those decisions so why the does that mean we can should make the same mistakes they made hundreds of years ago…they didn’t know any better, we do so we have to do better. Is that fair? No. Is that the hand we were dealt? Unfortunately yes.
We can either whine and justify doing the same shit over and over or we can be better and utilize the knowledge we now have and a choose a more responsible route.
Yep, climate change was super well known then too, fantastic point 👍
Yeah even shows I’m not into have a mark of quality that definitely is appealing to others interests. As is typical with Apple, they focus on quality over quantity. Haters hate, and there is plenty to be critical of, but Apple gives a fuck about quality much more than a lot of their competition.
Eh I’m not buying it on principle now. Kind of sick of these rushed releases.
Finish them before releasing them.
I didn’t know that! Along the roads though there were a lot of Apple trees and my friend I was visiting said that’s commonly a thing to plant them along roads there so that no matter the situation someone can have access to food…I really liked that!
For comparison I was in Germany recently and to a supermarket, 6 half liter beers (variety of em too), nice bottle of wine, cheese, crackers, salami and some dessert type chocolate crackers…$20.
Oh that’s cool, had no idea!
Tbh I’m fine with hackers wrecking the stupid micro transaction companies.
It’s a bass, a common musical phish!
Pretty normal to get hostile when someone gets hostile with you. Exact opposite reaction on the same Reddit thread, underscoring the point that OP is making.
Oh no doubt, Steam Link is super easy to use. Once quality catches up it seriously might become the Stream Deck by default at home.
