I like cake.
Feedbro, it’s a browser extension.
I‘m using a RSS reader with rule based filters to remove uninteresting articles (to me) and upvote or downvote articles with certain keywords (for me). That way I can aggregate lots of media and have my own personal feed.
It takes some time to set up and fine-tune, though.

Nobody was arrested for protesting against Israel or genocide in Germany. That’s a blatant lie. Some people are being arrested temporary for their call to murder all Jews. There is a clear difference: There are thousands of people protesting peacefully against Israel’s war - only a few of them are overstepping hard while doing so. Stopping these select people from committing further crimes in accordance with the state of law is called nuance.
Don’t commit crimes in Germany (call for murder) and nobody will arrest you.

The „ban on pasta“ (lifted in 2010) was not about pasta but about all imports. It’s weird to single out pasta. After Hamas took over Gaza Egypt and Israel closed all borders, arguing that trading with terrorists would be recognition of their illegal rule over lands that belong to Palestine. Soon after exceptions for fuel, food, medicine, household items etc. were made in multiple steps (including Pasta).

On the server-side PHP is used by 76.8% of all websites (a large chunk of that being WordPress). It is not going anywhere, soon. Looking at this statistics, nothing else seems to be even in the same league from a pure usage point of view.
I have yet to see a reason why it should change. Serious question: What is the disadvantage of using the tried and tested PHP8 compared to the alternatives, if you already know PHP?

This is Bard. But Google Search also added AI to their searches, too.
Last time I checked it was in A/B testing and it was bad. The result previews sometimes show you what you are searching for, not what is actually there (wrong names, wrong dates, etc.).
Screenshots of the game Arma 3 are not real photos. Some disinformation is simply disinformation.
The EU asks them to detail how they process and distinguish these fake news and to explain how they make their decisions. The EU did not demand that they change anything, yet. Your criticism is premature.

The distinctions get blurry if you’re the sole user.
I‘m using DataGrip (IntelliJ) for any manual SQL tomfoolery. I have been where you are. Luckily for me, the tool asks for additional confirmation when doing any update/delete without where clause.
Also, backups are a must, for all the right reasons and for any project.
He drove me back into using RSS after more than a decade for staying up to date. Much better for the mental health. Thankfully, since Wordpress and also some other CMS have the RSS feature enabled by default, many websites have it even if they’re not advertising it.
